"That would be great! Could you pick me up from my place at 5?"

Josh happily replied to Penelope's e-mail and started to get ready for tonight.

To prepare for his date, Josh did the usual things, like some personal grooming. He also went online again to see if there were some rules or standards for dates in this world. While he was starting to remember the modifications to his past, like how his mom was literally a fox lady, he could not be sure he would remember everything. This way he could be sure. According to what he found, dates are pretty much the same as they were in the old world. Sex was not a requirement to dating, but it was more likely to happen than in did in the old world. The only exceptions were the obvious ones, like the date being bad or one of the two coming to dislike the other so much they did not want to have sex with them. However, Josh did find those were not always the case, especially if it was a lunch date.

When he was done with his research, Josh saw that it was about 4:45. So he got in his car and headed off to Penelope's place (She had sent him the address after he replied to her text). On the way, Josh turned on the radio. There were some interesting advertisements, like beauty products for girl's ears. After fifteen minutes of driving, Josh reached Penelope's place. She lived in a small apartment complex, and in a small apartment too. It was on the ground floor of the building.

Josh walked to her door and rang the bell. A moment later Penelope opened the door. She was dressed really well.

Just inside the restaurant, Josh noticed a sign asking the customers not to have sex here. This was probably so that the sexual activities do not disrupt the waiters move food. Josh was disappointed at this, but they could go somewhere after dinner.

The dinner itself was enjoyable. Josh learned more about Penelope. She is a student at the local university and worked part time that coffee shop.

After they were done with dinner, they headed back to Josh's car. Josh planned to take her to a park, for a nice evening stroll and fuck, but Penelope asked him.
