Shannon thinks Josh is getting lowballed

Josh looked at Shannon, trying to give his best disapproving look.

"Shannon, don't lie to me," Josh said sternly. "I have half a mind to trade you just for the way you are acting." Shannon looked back up and stared him in the eye.

"If you want to trade me, SIR, fine. But don't trade me for less than I'm worth..." Shannon replied being openly testy, which really didn't surprise Josh, he was used to the bitch version of Shannon from before things got interesting.

"Cindy's not just from accounting, but from the accounting's secretary pool. she's not used to attending to a specific person, just getting fucked by random passersby. Sure she's young, but the pool is full of girls like her and Mr. Clive knows it. Trade me personal secretary for personal secretary. Otherwise you deserve the lazy cunt you'll get. Sir" The rant came fast and harsh. Shannon regained her composure and went back into a more submissive pose, her cheeks flushed from the outburst.

It was a lot for Josh to take in, but if Shannon was correct then Josh would need a counter offer. Something else still nagged at Josh.

"Why are you helping me? Is it that much a blow to your pride that I trade you?" He asked.
