Chapter 17 by grimbous grimbous

What's next?

Preparation and The Big Day

The rest of that day, until the wee hours of the morning, you are locked in your room getting ready for the big adventure tomorrow. You hadn't told El about the game yet as you hoped to keep it a surprise, but she was reliably home on most Sundays. You make your maps, review the monsters and NPCs, and try your best to commit the important story elements to memory.

Just after 2 am you finally sit back and rub your tired eyes. You were as ready as you could be given the time you had and staying up any later would just mean you would be groggy tomorrow.

You undress, crawl into bed and lie there thinking about the day ahead and the day you'd just had.

You think about how pleased your mother was to be having a wholesome game day with the family. You think about how Aunt Peg, who had played the game before, told you that you'd make a good DM. You think about Chloe, the amazing blowjob, and how much you had both enjoyed it. You think about breaking down in Fiona's arms and how good it felt to let those feelings out at last. And you think about Elsie and how excited she would be when you sprung this surprise on her tomorrow.

You were both buzzing with anticipation yet, on a deeper level, strangely at peace. The world was exhausting for a little beta boy like you, but there was something about spending time with the women of your family that recharged you and gave you comfort. You felt blessed to have each and every one of them in your life.

You set the alarm for 10 am and close your eyes for the best sleep you'd had in many long months.

You wake to the annoying buzz of your alarm. You turn it off and sit up in bed. Rubbing your eyes you stretch and get up out of bed. Stumbling toward your door still half asleep you stagger out into the hallway on your way to the washroom. In just your undies you scratch your butt as you take a step down the hall when you hear a clear lilting voice that didn't belong here.

"Oh! Uh... Good Morning Jesse."

Your eyes flare open and your head snaps to the left. There, standing in your upstairs hallway not even seven feet away, was the radiant emerald eyed angel Casey Devlin! She wore a lovely old fashioned one piece armless dress that hugged her lean upper body. Held in her hands in front of her was a matching handbag. A bright red shade of lipstick accentuated her perfect lips. Her green eyes were wide with shock at seeing the nearly nude man suddenly making an appearance in front of her. Now looking everywhere but at you she had a bright pink blush across her cheeks.

"AH!" You cry out and scramble to cover your exposed torso and your bulge.

She is holding in a giggle as she apologizes profusely. "Oh God, I'm so sorry. I was just waiting for Elsie. We were going for breakfast..."

"What's going on out there?" You hear from inside El's room.

You don't hear the rest as you retreat back into your room and slam the door behind you. Out in the hall you hear tittering and whispering as El comes out of her room to hear about what had just happened. The girlish giggles are like sharp lashes across your pride. Casey was no doubt laughing at your ugly unmanly body. You distinctly hear the word "cute" being whispered, no doubt talking about the sad little bulge in your tight boxer-briefs.

You are jolted out of your bout of self loathing as you remembered something Casey had said. Your eyes widen in fear. Turning around you stick just your head back out into the hall. Both girls turn and smile brightly your direction.

"Mornin Jesse." El chirps. "Sorry about that, I just had to grab something and I didn't want Case to see my mess. I didn't expect you to...well, ya know. Sorry."

"Sure." You blush. "Um...you're going out for breakfast?"

She nods. "Felix is working at the diner this morning. We thought we'd go keep him company before the church rush hit."

"You're welcome to join us." Casey says. God, now she was pitying you. Could this get any worse?

You shake your head. "No, I'm...uh...busy."

"Oh." The red head then says politely. "Another time perhaps?"

"I'm busy a lot actually."

"Oh...right." She looks between El and you then quietly excuses herself. "I'll be downstairs El." She turns and drifts gracefully down the stairs.

"That was rude." El plants her fists on her lovely curved hips.

"Sorry." You cringe. "Hey...how late you going to be out?"

She shrugs. "Dunno. Probably not too long. Why?"

"Why? Uh...I thought...I thought we could do lunch. About noon?"

"I'm having a late breakfast, how about later?"

"Oh, right...uhhhh, no...that's not going to work." You grasp for another excuse. "You see...uh..."

She tilts her head and a knowing smile slowly grows across her beautiful face. Shit! Elsie could read you like nobody else and you could see in her eyes that she now knew something was up.

She giggles and mercifully lets you off the hook. "I'll eat light. I'll try to be home for noon."

"Ha! Thanks El." You grin. "Have a good breakfast."

Elsie stares at you...hard...with those deep dark eyes of hers. "Casey really wouldn't mind one little bit if you joined us."

You scoff. "Oh, I think she's seen plenty enough of me today. Poor girl. Anyway, see you at noon. Love ya El."

She rolls her eyes. "Love you too big brother."

You close the door. Whew, close call. Thankfully you had caught her before she left. She knew something was up but there would be no way she could guess what it was exactly. In fact, Elsie going for breakfast ended up being a blessing in disguise. With her gone you were able to get the extra leaf in the kitchen table and set everything up just perfectly for when she arrived again.

You set your area up at the head of the table with the window at your back. You put up the DM screen and get all of your papers and paraphernalia set out just so. You lay the character out around the table, making sure Fiona got the other end of the table where she always used to sit when she was a part of the household. El and Chloe you put to your left and your mother to your right. Elsie's place is empty but the others all had their character sheet, a pencil, and a set of dice at them.

Your mother was also in the kitchen, happily humming along as she prepares snacks and drinks for the big event.

"This is going to be fun." She says as she sets out cans of soda and a big bowl of caramel corn she had made.

You grin nervously. "I hope so!"

She chuckles. "I can't remember the last time I saw you smile like that. Looks good on you sweetie."

At a quarter to twelve Fiona and Chloe enter the house. Fiona wore a casual outfit of a dress and a v neck t shirt, her blonde hair tucked back in a simple ponytail. Chloe however was wearing a full Frodo Baggins costume minus the ring. Short pants, tunic, vest, jacket, green cloak, the works. She was even in bare feet. With her new short pixie cut and the loose layers of clothes covering her tiny boobs...she genuinely looked like a really tall male halfling! A super attractive male halfling, but still, any outside observer would swear she was a boy in this get up. The slight bulge in her trousers made it all the more convincing.

"OHHHHHH!" Your mother exclaims as she goes and pinches her nieces cheeks. "You are cute as a button!"

Chloe grins from ear to ear. "I make a pretty cute boy, don't I Auntie?"

"Uh huh!" Your mom nods vigorously.

You already knew where this was heading and so did Fiona.

"Come, take your seats please." You extend your arms. Your big sister meanwhile had **** herself between the two before any kinky shenanigans got going.

The two of them laugh and take their seats. Fiona lets out a sigh, readying herself for something that she knew she was going to hate, and slowly takes her seat.

You make eye contact with her across the table. "Thank you for coming."

She gives you a half smile and shrugs. "I'm here."

The ladies look over their characters again, Fiona for the first time, and the group of you all wait for the girl of the hour.

At noon on the dot you all hear Elsie enter the house. The others are quiet as they waited to spring the surprise.

"Jesse?" El calls from the entry way.

"In here!" You call back.

"Be there in sec." She says.

"You bet."

She hurries upstairs and you could all hear her moving around for a minute before she rushes back down the stairs again.

As she enters the kitchen you and your mother both say. "Surprise!"

In Elsie hands...was her character sheet, players handbook, and dice bag.

"What!?" You stand up and point at her. "You knew!?"

Elsie laughs. "After your mysterious lunch offer this morning...and Chloe's Facebook post saying she was playing D&D with her family today, I kinda put things together."

All attentions shifts to your cousin. "Chloe!"

"What!?" She looks around at you all defensively. "How was I supposed to know she'd go online this morning?"

You face palm.

Elsie drops her stuff at the spot left for her and rounds the table to give you a big hug. "I'm guessing I have you to thank for this." You smile your confirmation. "Thank you Jesse, thank you so much." You hug again.

In the middle of your embrace you feel her body stiffen. She slowly backs away, eyes on the other side of the table. "Oh...Fiona, you're playing too?"

Fiona looks at little sister for a time before asking. "Would it bother you?"

"No...no, just...I didn't think you'd...that this would be..." She shakes her head and sighs. "No, I'm happy to see you. Just surprised."

Fiona's expression didn't change but her eyes were smiling. "Glad to see you too El."

Elsie goes around the table hugging and thanking each of them in turn before returning to her spot. "Ohhhhh, I'm so excited!" She was nearly vibrating with enthusiasm.

There is some chatter but soon the gals fall quiet and all eyes turn to you. The spotlight was on...it was showtime. You could feel your nerves rise.

You take a deep breath, hold it for a second, then begin.

"Imagine, if you will, a land of magic and mystery..."
