Power Trip: The Beginning of the End

What would a young man do with the power to get people to do or think whatever he wanted? For a young man like Darren, he would treat the rest of the world like his own personal playground. Nothing would be off limits for him. If he wanted to take over as mayor, he would be able to. If he wanted to fuck the hottest girl in town, he would not need to hesitate. He could take anything he wanted with the most nonchalant of requests, and the world would simply give it to him. The rules no longer mattered. He made the rules, and nobody would be able to stop him.

Darren's obscene power trip began almost immediately after he gave up his soul. At first, he did not feel any different, until the surge of energy flowed through his body and into his brain. For a short while, he felt cold, but when the sensation subsided, his voice had changed. No longer did it sound oddly gravelly. It was smooth and sexy, like the soothing voice of some well spoken celebrity. His thoughts, however, were far less snappy. He could not contain his excitement, literally laughing maniacally in his shitty little apartment.
