Chapter 6 by SpiralFelix SpiralFelix

Does Willow come back soon? Or does someone else arrive first?

One of Willow's friends arrives

Mackenzie's seclusion didn't last long. It was only twenty minutes later when she heard a knock on her door again. Trying not to get her hopes up that Willow was somehow back already, Mackenzie walked over to the peephole. Standing there was a short girl with wavy, shoulder-length blonde hair and a button nose. She was wearing a stylish coat and faded jeans, with a pleasant smile on her round face. Mackenzie recognized her, though it took her a few moments to recall her name. It was Bri, one of Willow's friends. Or at least, Mackenzie thought they were friends. Willow would occasionally talk about Bri as if she was more of a hassle to be around than anything else. Mackenzie had met her once before and she'd seemed like an extremely nice and pleasant person. So, making sure her towel was as in place as it could get, Mackenzie partially opened the door, taking care to keep her body hidden behind the door.

"Hi, Bri, right?" she said, sticking just her head out from behind the door.

"Oh, hi Mackenzie!" Bri replied with a cheerful grin. "Is Willow here? She hasn't been answering my texts."

"Oh, actually she's n-" But Mackenzie was interrupted by Bri casually pushing the door further open and breezily walking into the room. Mackenzie hadn't expected the move and suddenly found herself with a guest in the room.

"Willow!" Bri called as she strode into the middle of the dorm room. "Why aren't you responding to..." The blonde trailed off as she saw that Willow clearly wasn't anywhere in the small room. She turned back to Mackenzie and asked, "Oh, she's not here?"

"Nope!" Mackenzie blurted out, her face rapidly reddening at the prospect of being seen in just her tiny towel again. "She, uh, met some guy and is out on a date with him right now. I can let her know you stopped by and-"

"Aw, but we were supposed to get lunch together today..." Bri whined. Then she plopped down on Willow's desk chair. "Do you know when she'll be back?"

"Nope!" Mackenzie said again. She was still holding the door wide open, hoping Bri would get the message and leave. "I'm sure she'll text you back later after her date's over, though!"

"I guess so..." Bri said, looking genuinely dejected for a few moments before perking back up. "Hey! Why don't you and I go grab lunch someplace together instead?"

"Uh... I, uh... I can't right now..." Mackenzie hesitantly said. But in another instance of bad timing, Mackenzie's stomach took the opportunity to loudly grumble.

"See, you're hungry too! And it'll be a perfect chance to get to know each other b-" She blinked a few times, as if only just registering Mackenzie's lack of attire. "Wait, what are you wearing?"

"...A towel."

"Well get dressed already and then we can go! I know this great Italian place downtown."

"It's... not that simple," Mackenzie admitted. Bri gave her a quizzical look, prompting a groan from Mackenzie. She really didn't want to explain her bizarre and humiliating situation to someone she barely knew.

"It's a long story," Mackenzie said wearily.

"Oh don't worry!" Bri beamed. "I don't have any other plans this afternoon. Go ahead!"

Mackenzie stared at the girl in disbelief for a few moments before finally giving in. She closed the door and sat down in her own chair a few feet away. The towel was so short that when she sat down she had to place one of her hands over her pussy to keep it out of sight from her new acquaintance.

"The quick version is that someone stole all my clothes two months ago. And all the replacement clothes I've bought since then have also been stolen, lost, or destroyed somehow. So now I'm out of clothes and completely broke, so I couldn't buy more clothes even if I wanted to! Plus, if I try to borrow clothes from Willow or my other friends it'll put me in danger of getting suspended. So... all I've got is this towel."

"Oh my goodness! That's awful!" Bri said, sounding genuine. "Don't worry, I won't try to lend you any of my clothes. I don't want you to get suspended!"

"Uh... thanks I guess?" Mackenzie hadn't even thought about asking Bri for help, given how little she knew about her.

"Have you tried asking your parents for more money? That always works for me."

"No!" Mackenzie said, quickly. "No, that's not an option."

"Why not?"

Mackenzie sighed, wondering how to explain her parents' irritation with her frequent brushes with public nudity.

"If they find out I'm out of money, they're going to find out I spent everything on clothes. Which means they're going to find out I lost all my clothes. Which means they're going to find out I've been having more... wardrobe issues at school. Which means they're going to find out the whole school thinks I'm a streaker. Which means they're probably going to pull me out of school since they think I'm doing it all on purpose. Which means I'll end up living back in my hometown, where most people also think I'm a streaker anyway!"

"...I don't think I get it," Bri said after a few long seconds of silence.

"That's alright," Mackenzie sighed. "But the bottom line is that I'm stuck in this room for the foreseeable future. Unless I feel like venturing out in just this towel."

"Hmmm... So I can't let you borrow anything to wear. But what if I just bought you something to wear. Permanently. Like a gift?"

"I guess that would be... Wait, you would do that?!"

"Of course!" Bri said, rising from the chair. "I feel just awful that you have to run around practically naked! That must be so embarrassing!"

"Oh my god, Bri, you're a lifesaver!!" Overcome with relief, Mackenzie stood up to give her new friend a hug. But she stood up a bit too quickly, as her towel came undone in the process. And before she realized what had happened, Mackenzie found herself nakedly hugging Bri. It took the sensation of Mackenzie's bare torso rubbing up against Bri's coat to make her realize what had happened. "Shit! Sorry!" she cursed as she crouched down to retrieve the fallen towel.

"Don't worry about it," Bri said with a sweet giggle. "Let's head to the mall, then! I'll buy you as many clothes as you need and then we can grab some lunch while we're there."

"...'We?'" Mackenzie asked hesitantly. "Do you think you could just... maybe buy some clothes for me and bring them back here?"

"Nonsense! I would have no idea what to buy for you! I don't know your sizes, your style, or even your favorite color combinations!"

"Anything's fine," Mackenzie said. "Really!"

"I won't take no for an answer!" Bri said, cheerily. "Now come on, we can take my car." And with that, the blonde girl opened the door, clearly expecting that Mackenzie would follow.

Mackenzie had a difficult choice to make. On the one hand, she had just been given a huge opportunity. This bubbly girl was promising to buy her as many clothes as she needed in her time of despair. There was no way she could turn that down! But on the other hand, it also meant heading to the mall wearing a flimsy little towel. The mall was sure to be crowded, given that is was a Saturday, and Mackenzie knew she'd be walking around potentially hundreds of people if she agreed.

What does Mackenzie decide to do?
