Normality necklace

These items were in the form of a golden orange chain that caused anything the wearer said to be considered normal. Attached to the chain was the other object, a crimson red ruby, somehow made into the shape of an 'N', that made whatever the wearer did normal in the eyes of others! When they had sobered up, the higher powers did what they always did when they made magic items while drunk and couldn't remember what they did: put them in a sealed box and threw them in the closet where they couldn't do any damage. Of course, there was nothing abnormal about these, so they only made it as far as the box before they decided there wasn't really a point. Over time, the box got lost, after all there wasn't really any reason to keep an eye on it...
