Chapter 5 by Rowenar Rowenar

Does anything happen tomorrow?

More exploring, and a discovery

Clara woke up after a damp night. She rolled off of her dress, muttering to herself; she shouldn't have washed it so late. It hadn't had enough time to dry in what little sunlight there had been.

She shivered, standing up again. She sat for a moment and eyed it, debating what to do.

It wasn't like it had dried any during the lightless nights here. That meant her best bet was...

Either sit naked and watch it dry, or actually do something with her time. She chose the latter.

She hadn't seen any sign of civilisation while she'd been here. She kept repeating that in her head; no one would ever know. Welll, unless the Doctor turned up, but frankly she'd be relieved enough to leave.

Clara weighed her dress down with rocks, then sat down again, bare ass feeling awakward against the stone.

After a few moments she sighed and put on her shoes. She'd adapted her bra to serve more as a hamper; the cups weren't exactly huge, but they'd help hold more.

First up, a trip back to the fruit trees. That time her face was bright red, constantly glancing around at the slightest noise, whether or not it was just a bird. Ok, this had been a terrible idea.

It was a relief when she finally found the trees again. She carried what apples she could, held a few more in her unworn bra, then began to make her way back to the camp.

Finally, at the campsite, she could sit down. It wasn't much, but she could keep her legs together, keep her pussy from view and hide her ass. God, that walk had been embarrassing.

Then again, washing her dress in the morning did seem to be her best bet. It should definitely dry by dusk, so long as...

Clara swallowed. It wasn't even dry yet; she felt it. Damn it, she didn't want to wear a sodden dress.

She really missed her underwear. And wearing just her bra felt silly, even if it wasn't still damp too.

She left it under a couple of rocks too, then set off the opposite way down the river to where she'd gone yesterday. By now she didn't expect to see civilisation, but it'd be nice to at least know what was around.

Slightly flustered, Clara kept walking, grateful she at least had her shoes. They were practical too; they had to be for all the running she got up to.

And then she heard-

Was that a voice?

"Doctor!" she shouted.

Whatever shouted back definitely wasn't the Doctor. Oh god, she wasn't alone after all! Clara squeaked, instinctively shrinking back.

Her and her bright ideas. When would going for a walk through the forest naked _ever _end well?!

She darted sideways, arms instinctively moving to cover herself even when she hadn't seen anyone.

"Who?" a voice grunted.

Nervously, Clara glanced around the tree; then she immediately pulled her head back.

Ok, discovery one. Unless other planets had cavemen, this was almost certainly Earth. Discovery two, she was a long way back, so she couldn't expect any kind of useful technology. Or for that matter clothes, they didn't even seem to have figured out animal hides yet. or, more likely, didn't have any concept of modesty.

Her cheeks flushed bright red. Still, people. And by the sound of it the TARDIS translator was still working for her; maybe it was a remnant of her time in the Doctor's timestream, maybe he was near, maybe a different version of him was doing something on the other side of the planet. Whatever, she could talk to them.

Just- She looked down at herself and squealed. Not now. She'd go pick up her dress and come back. It didn't matter if they'd invented modesty, she sure as hell had!

Does she get away?
