Chapter 3 by Rowenar Rowenar

What's next?

Killer Frost trouble

Having a second personality that periodically took over her body was never going to be easy to adjust to. Caitlin was struggling to try and get control of it, even leaving STAR Labs behind to avoid getting in the way, but it kept happening.

Killer Frost was violent and dangerous and all in all just a pain.

And it didn't help that she seemed to have a taste for parties. More than once Caitlin had woken up with a pounding hangover; it wasn't like Killer Frost had to worry about the consequences.

So, when Caitlin felt the world cool and cloud over, she braced herself for what she'd wake up to-

She came to again to the sound of voices. No one seemed to be talking directly to her; slowly her eyes fluttered open, to see a brown wall. She blinked, straightening, and bumping her head on something beside her.

Something was buzzing in the back of her head. She shook it off.

A bar. Ok, Killer Frost had taken her to a bar. She was sat in a booth off to the side, out of the way of most of the patrons. Well, Caitlin supposed, Killer Frost did have a way of keeping people away.

She shook her head, trying to clear it. It always took a moment to adjust after her personality resurfaced.

A wall to her right, a wall behind her that served as the back of the chair. Ok. And several empty glasses in front of her; no doubt free drinks, Killer Frost always seemed to hate to pay for things, especially if she could steal them. How she'd gotten that many was beyond Caitlin though. And-

She shivered. And it was kinda cold. She glanced around, hoping to find a jacket-

And couldn't help a sudden shriek escaping her lips. Her top! No wonder Killer Frost had been getting free drinks; the shameless ice-powered meta was going topless!

Flushing, and hoping no one had heard, Caitlin quickly crossed her arms to hide her boobs. She quickly glanced under the table, grateful to note Killer Frost was at least still wearing pants. Jeans, a little edgier than Caitlin's usual taste, but far from the worst she'd woken up in.

Ok. Topless in a bar. Caitlin swallowed.

She could deal with this. She repeated that over in her head; ok, she could deal with this. She just had to keep her arms where they were and get the hell out. And pray she figured out which bar she was in quickly so she knew how to get home.

Caitlin nervously glanced around. No one was looking at her now, though she wasn't naive enough to believe Killer Frost hadn't flashed her body before.

Oh god, don't think about that. Caitlin shrank back into the booth, trying to melt into the corner, bare back against wall. She hunched over; even if no one was looking at her just then she couldn't be casual about this!

Damn it. She doubted she could expect to find her bra or top anywhere. She just had to get out.

What's the plan?
