It's Lucas....

You haven't seen him since freshman year of high school, but you were sure of it. It was Lucas. All-star Lucas. He was a senior back then, smart, handsome, and everyone said he was going places. You remember that he scored a scholarship from being an all-star quarterback.

So how did he end up here?

You only interacted with him a couple of times back then. He's one of the main reasons you tried to get involved in sports. He was someone you aspired to be.

Yet, he's in front of you now, living off the streets, for god knows how long.

Lucas's face still had that tan to it. While his face has weathered, and his blonde hair and beard were long unkempt. He still had that cute face. The one that all the girls swooned over. You bite your lower lip as you smile down at him.

"Lucas?" You ask sweetly as you rub his hair to the side, and pat his forehead with your hand. " How did you end up here?"
