Petrified by how close the sound was Aaron slid the key from out his pocket and turned back toward the door. As the shrill screams were replaced with a series of amorous grunts he slid the key into the lock and quickly turned the key before ripping the key out the lock and dashing into the apartment. Once inside he instinctively slammed the door shut behind him before locking it and rapidly bolting it.

Once safely within the apartment, Aaron leant against the door. His mind went into overdrive as he knew that one possibly two demonic creatures were inside the block. Aaron's heart began to race as he heard a chorus of bestial snarls echo down the hallway beyond the door. As Aaron strode away from the door he heard a slow rhythmic pounding quickly descend into a booming knock.

Aaron's eyes widened in horror as he heard the bestial snarls grow increasingly louder as the knocking intensified. Wanting to get away he carefully wandered back into the lounge. Aaron stood still as an ear-shattering smash seemed to happen all around him as...
