Hunt

Before you move on, you decide to take advantage of a few of these hapless adventurers...

It doesn't take long before you stumble on a few of them hunting Gazers, you sneaking up on them from around a corner. A pair of pretty low level Warriors and a single Acolyte to heal and buff them. You can pick them off easily enough, and they're just high enough level to provide a boost to your own level. Plus...well, you're kinda naked still.

Which adds to the confusion when you rush out of the shadows, quickly clawing down the hapless and unprepared healer. Now the Warriors rush you and you go at them in turn, Rake activating on a few hits to strip them down of gear. If it was a normal, fair fight you'd be in trouble but it's not. Their armor stripped down, the unfortunately male pair goes down in a few quick hits and you take a few solid blows, but nothing dangerous. You end the fight at half health, they end it dead.

You reach down and as they begin to fade, you rummage through the equipment they're wearing. It doesn't take long to peel off an ensemble or two, and for good measure you pick up a ring or two. They fade away as soon as you're done, leaving an empty room and you to move to a corner, sorting yourself out. You noticed a ding shortly after the fight, but you're waiting until you're safe to examine it all.
