California girls

She had packed for vacation and not working so Prentiss' outfits were limited, but at least this time she had more clothes with her, not that she had any intention of letting Mesmero strip her again. Dressed in tight blue jeans, red t-shirt and black blazer, Prentiss stepped off the plane, regretting the jacket as the hot sun hit her. After collecting her bag Prentiss was met by Jennifer Jareau, herself wearing blue pinstriped trousers and a thin white blouse.

"Glad you're here, JJ."

"No problem, I want this guy caught too. We're meeting the CBU at the site the last girl was found."

A short taxi ride later, the agents stood on a pavement by a strip of shops. A petite brunette woman, dressed in black jeans and black blouse, approached them.

"Theresa Lisbon, CBU." She introduced herself, shaking hands.

"SSU Prentiss and Jareau. What happened here?"

"The victim was Nicola Phelan, nineteen, student of criminology. She was picked up here stripped naked, officers thought it was some sort of student prank and were going to charge her with indecent exposure until they realised she had no idea where she was or what was going on."

"Sounds like our guy." Prentiss nodded, "Any idea where Nicola was coming from?"

"There's nothing around here." Lisbon shrugged, "Your guy was a casino act, right? The nearest casino is more than ten miles away, no chance the girl walked that far unnoticed."

"We'd better ask around, see if anyone saw anything." Prentiss said, "This isn't going to be the same as before."

She took a step towards the shops before tripping on the curb, stumbling, and falling forwards to her hands and knees, accompanied by a loud ripping noise from the seat of her jeans.

"Not again!" She groaned.
