Azula makes a run for it.

Her first thought was to stay put. Someone would be sure to come along and rescue her eventually.

The only problem was, that person would catch her naked. And she'd have to explain that she, Azula, Princess of the Fire Nation, had been stranded nude in the baths after her friends had stolen all her clothes. And the story would be all over the Earth Kingdom by sundown. And probably the Avatar would hear about it, and make fun of her.

Well, maybe not. But just the thought made her furious. How dare they do this to her? Didn't they know who she was? She was a princess, for crying out loud! They were going to pay for embarrassing her like this. Even if it was just a single serving girl who found out about it, that was still one person too many. She could never show weakness to anyone, ever, ever, ever, ever. It was just too humiliating to think about. The slightest chance that her enemies might learn she'd had her clothes stolen, like a stupid little weakling... it was unacceptable.

There was only one other option.

She had to get back to her suite. On the other side of the resort. In the nude. Without a single soul seeing her.

Well, she was Princess Azula, the greatest bender ever in the history of the world. How hard could it be? Not that hard, right?

Of course not. It'd be easy. She could do it without even breaking a sweat. And nobody would ever have to know about the prank. Except Mai and Ty Lee, and she'd make damn sure they never breathed a word of it to anyone.

All she had to do was step outside.

Into the corridors of the crowded resort, where anyone could come along at any second.

With no clothes on.

And if anyone caught her outside the baths, it'd be ten times as embarrassing. She'd have to explain what she was doing running around the common area in the nude. Everyone would see her, and laugh at her, and know that she was nothing but a stupid little girl who got pranked.

Luckily, that wasn't going to happen.

Because she wasn't a stupid little girl. She was a princess.

She took a deep breath.

She took another deep breath. What was she waiting for? This was going to be easy. She didn't feel stupid or **** or nervous or naked or anything like that. She felt cool and calm and collected, like someone who was about to walk through a public area with all her clothes on and then catch the Avatar. There was absolutely nothing to worry about.

She was just going to step outside right now.

Into the corridor.

Naked.

She took a third deep breath. Then, very slowly, she poked her head out the door of the bath-house into the hotel corridor. She looked left, then right, then left again, then right again.

She couldn't see anyone.

She cocked her ears.

She couldn't hear anyone.

She sniffed the air.

She couldn't smell anyone.

She ran over the route in her head. She had to turn left here, then left again, then right, and then she'd have a straight shot out the back door and through the gardens to her room. She could hide in the underbrush. Nobody would see her. It was a foolproof plan. As long as she made it through this first stretch of corridor without getting caught, she'd be safe.

All she had to to was take the first step.

She took a final deep breath.

And stepped out into the hotel corridor, covering herself with her hands, her heart pounding a mile a minue, soaking wet and completely, utterly naked.

"Towel delivery," sang out the maid, coming round the corner to the left with a huge cart piled high with fluffy white towels. "Just coming to restock the changing room with fresh fluffy white towels, great for wrapping around your body and covering... hey, miss, why are you naked?"

Azula squealed.

And bolted to her right, away from the maid.

"Weird," said the maid, watching her bare ass disappear round a corner. "That's not the way I'd run if I was naked. That corridor leads to... oh, well, guess she'll find out."
