RACE ABILITIES

Intuitive: You gain an extra special ability when your class
would grant special ability choices.
Gifted: You chose one derived statistic at character creation, it
gains points at an increased rate.
Bland: Your Appearance score is 'race locked', it cannot be
increased with Stat Points earned from leveling.

CLASS ABILITIES

Harvester: you can harvest alchemical raigents from the wild
and the corpses of your enemies.
Compound: you can create alchemical items from raigents you
buy or harvest and mana up to class 2 items, or class 6 with an
alchemist's lab.
Journeyman: You are free to move about the world, no longer
confined to adventuring in your starting zone.

Overcharge: By putting extra mana into an alchemical item
you double it's effects. (Mana cost is equal to the level of the item
squared.)

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Stabilize: By spending 5 times as long compounding an
alchemical item you make it 'shelf stable': it may be carried and
used by a non-alchemist and does not '****' and lose potency
if unused.
Fireworks: You can create Rockets and Bombs which
explode on a timed fuse, dealing fire damage in a burst radius,
and DAZZLING anyone in the area.

This is great! you have hit points now! Well, enough to survive a slash from your average great sword anyway, at least once.

And by Armok's Hairy Balls: the Mana Points! You could craft all day without stopping: at least the things you used to craft. You will have to see about the costs for the new preparations you have learned later, those are on another screen and you don't have the time right now...

That thought brings you back to the present and your current predicament: your NAME changed, and along with it your status as hostile/non-hostile to the players you have no doubt: you need to upgrade your stats and abilities A.S.A.P., gather the things you will be taking with you into your exile, and flee while the orc horde has everyone distracted: or maybe you should be content for now with the passive upgrades you have gotten from leveling and just grab the stuff you will take and run? You can level up your stats and abilities later...

Which do you upgrade first, Special Abilities or Vital Statistics: or do you just loot the shop and flee?
