An so began to learn the art of mystics(learning the basics)

Issei immediately heads back to his house, ignoring his friends request to go at a manga store to look fictional chicks. He has something more interesting to learn.

He had being a fantasy type player, while admittedly he had mostly played eroge based game, it usually had a fantasy setting like dragons mages(along with slimes and tentacles, definitely the latter two).

Back at home, after taking a bath and having dinner, he simply chose to read the books that were given to him by Sona.

Reading the books, he began with how magic first work.

At the beginning, magic from humans are created when they attempt to mimic demonic powers, though not all, some are miracles from gods, or blessings. Though nowadays the current magic sytem are based on Merlin's research.

Magic requires high calculations process and an understanding of the laws of the world. Basically physics along with a bunch of mumbo jumbos adding to it to cast a circle. So he might not be able to pull off high tier spells right of the bat that's for sure.

There are two types of magic, Western magic and Eastern magic. Main difference are the place they originate from.

"Well, the book is actually easy to understand than I thought, and I thought there are going to be some complex words,"

Sona said that the old ones are outdated and tend to be harder to understood so she made a more simpler version. She had also given other books like the supernatural and how the devil society works. He would think it because he is her owner, but she is very insistent to know if the book would help.

"Maybe she wants to be a teacher? She seems adamant about asking if I don't understand and if it sounds too complicated. I should give criticism, "

Well, regardless, he got the gist of it, and looking at the window and the clock, it seems its already late.

"Huh, I must have spent the entire night reading the books." He thought,

Oh well, its time to sleep. Placing the books his desk, he goes to slumber, wanting to try it out tomorrow.

Waking up early, he wants to try it out first,

"Yosh! Time to practice magic"

"Ok, the book said to concentrate from deep within," He breath slowly as he tries to clear his mind and concentrate.

He had to gather the mana within him and expend it outward, feel it flow through your body as the book said. This is to first harness the mana within his body.

_"Hmmm? What's this?" _His finger is glowing a bit, yet he doesn't know what is happening, he wasnt really expecting to actually do it. Sona says it takes learners months or even a year to do spell casting, and even then the book says you would let out an aura of mana around the body.

Yet his fingertips is the only thing glowing, Issei does not quite understand how this works.

He tries to test something, grabbing one of the books Sona gave to him, he trail down his figertips, a small black line appears, grinning, he draws his name for testing.
