Chapter 3 by Rowenar Rowenar

What's next?

A malfunction

Set post Captain Marvel, spoilers.

Carol tapped the wrist-control of her suit for a few seconds, ensuring the new colours would stay fixed. She didn’t want to revert back to the Kree green, especially not now.

It worked pretty basically, as far as she knew, light projected onto the overall outline to blend in however she wanted. She’d made the arms transparent back on Earth to try and stop it standing out, the uniform sometimes drew attention.

Red, blue and gold. She tapped the settings, brightening it, before returning to the airlock. She waved to a nearby Skrull and reformed her helmet.

She’d lead the way outside the ship. Ok, it had weapons, but she was better.

Moments later and the route outside was opened again. She flew out into the void, quickly getting used to the physics of flying again, shooting and circling around the ship until she was out front again.

They’d installed a radio into her suit. It made keeping in contact easier, ensured they didn’t miss anything.

She shot up, energy shining as it wreathed her, the light swirling around the suit and her hair, eyes alight. This was always… wow.

Unable to hold back a laugh, Carol flew forwards and curved up, coming up into view of the front of the ship. She waved at the main deck, catching sight of Talos.

Time to get underway again. Energy surged around her again.

Her communicator crackled.

“Ready?” a Skrull said.

“Always,” she said. “Let’s go.”

The engines thrummed; Carol turned, straightening while focusing, letting her power surge and push her forwards. She grinned.

Something sparked. Carol hesitated, glancing down at her wrist again; she’d worried about something going wrong, it wasn’t as though this suit had been designed for her to go at full power in.

But… no, readings said there was no breach. She tapped her wrist again, double checking; no definitely nothing dangerous. Probably just a harmless glitch.

She’d give it a full rundown once she was inside, worst case it’d need a tune up.

“Everything ok?” Talos’s voice came through.

“Yep, just a weird reading,” Carol said.

“Anything to worry about?” Talos said.

“Nope,” Carol said.

Something else sparked. Then, without her noticing, the colours flickered. Red faded to green for a moment, then briefly turned neon; than, in less than a second, it faded completely.

The same happened for the black, the projected light that made her costume flickering away, all of it returning to its default, subtle setting, turning transparent.

Carol stared forwards, looking around the vastness of space, as her skin flickered into view. Behind her, several dozen Skrull were greeted with the sight of Carol’s body, toned to perfection by years of training. Twin cheeks stayed firm, displayed without hesitation.

Wordlessly, Talos placed a hand over his son’s eyes. He and many others stared, captivated.

“Uh,” he muttered into the radio. “Sure everything’s ok?”

“Yeah,” Carol said.

She paused, then turning, a shining light in the darkness as she faced the Skrull. Talos’s words faded in his throat as he glimpsed the hero’s front, a patch of light ensuring even her pussy was palpably obvious.

And then there were her tits, each still illuminated. He blinked.

Some day he was going to figure out why so many humanoid races looked so similar. Today though, he had other concerns.

Nervously, Talos glanced towards his wife.

“Don’t blame you,” she said, and turned back to face the hero.

“Why, you guys see something?” Carol said.

Should they tell her?
