A large flower clamps around her. (Alternate)

Green, rubbery edges crept into her view. Mackenzie’s face fell as she turned around and saw it. It was big. It was green. It had teeth. It was a giant plant, an overgrown flower of some kind. Rubbery teeth ran along the edges of it’s petals. and some sort of thick, transparent liquid leaked from the edges of its lips. It towered over her!

“Whoa!” Mackenzie gasped as she took a step backwards. Her ankle pressed into something, and she flailed her arms around. “Wahh!” Came the scream. Mackenzie must have tripped on a switch, some sort of string or hidden button, because the flower soon proved to be animatronic. The flower opened its mouth and it lunged to her. Mackenzie shrieked in terror as the flower enveloped her, feeling rubbery teeth graze her body. Suddenly everything around Mackenzie was dark, with only her feet still on solid ground.

“Ah! Ahhh! AHH! Oh my God!” She screamed, squirming and struggling. Mackenzie braced herself for the worst, expecting the flower to lift her and finish swallowing her. She opened her eyes, seeing… not much else happening. The inside of the flower was made of a soft, rubbery material. It was warm to the touch too. Probably to make it feel more like a living thing.

Mackenzie sighed, remembering it was just there to scare her, not hurt her. She smiled, almost finding the spongy surface comfortable inside the flower. That is, until her hand slid around the inside. The inside of the flower was coated in some kind of thick oily substance. Deep inside the flower, a sprayer unleashed a quick squirt at Mackenzie’s face.

“Ahh! Gross!” Mackenzie shielded her face. Whatever this stuff was, it was getting everywhere, soaking both her and her thin sundress, causing it to cling to her skin. The entire interior of the flower was coated in it, leaking and spreading the clear liquid all over her.
