Chapter 6 by Rowenar Rowenar

What's next for the Legends?

A few changes to the Waverider

So. A ship that travelled through time with an AI masterminding all the systems. To think, Erin thought getting her powers would be the weirdest thing that happened to her.

The ship juddered. Erin stumbled, almost losing her focus for a moment.

"So, Gideon called you the captain," Erin said, regarding Sara.

Sara still tried to cover herself with her arms, flushing slightly, though she didn't seem quite as mortified as Zari by the whole situation. She quickly moved behind one of the chairs.

Still, a little friendship meant she wouldn't go running from the bridge in casual conversation.

"That's me," Sara said.

"So you can tell your ship to start listening to me?" Erin said. "We are friends, it's only fair."

"Sure, uh, Gideon?" Sara said. She squirmed, still. "Erin's part of the team. You can listen to her. Anyway, I should probably go get dressed-"

"Not just yet," Erin said. A little 'never...' "So, Gideon?"

"Yes Miss Foster," the AI chimed. Erin blinked.

"How'd you know my name?" she said.

"Your profile is recorded in the historical database," Gideon said.

Huh. That was... either unsettling or cool, Erin wasn't sure yet.

"Ok then," Erin said slowly. "Anyway. Speaking purely hypothetically of course, if someone was going to mess around with your systems a bit, where would that someone-"

"Zari," Sara said, almost in the same exact instance Gideon chimed in with 'Miss Tomaz.'

Erin turned her attention to the apparent-hacker, to see an embarrassed expression peering over the central table. A little 'never' encouraged Zari to stand up, a sustained effort keeping her hands by her sides so that both Sara and Erin were greeted wth a rather lovely full-frontal view.

Zari squeaked, fidgeting from shame but not moving.

"I'll need you in a sec, Sara," Erin said. "Just let me... So, Zara, where do you do your work? Love for you to show me a couple of tricks."

'Friendship' won her trust, and an impatient eyebrow-raise made Zari squeak and hurry over to a chair by a computer panel. She whimpered in relief as she finally sat down, hiding her ass.

Though she squealed again when Erin moved to stand over her; looking over her shoulder still showed off plenty.

"For future tech, it's not really as advanced as you'd expect." Zari said. "Just a bit of poking around, and- do I really have to be naked to show you this?"

"It's too important to wait," Erin said, insistent.

Zari fidgeted in her chair, bare legs crossing.

"And... I'm in," she said after surprisingly little time. She glanced over her shoulder to the flustered, nude Sara before deleting a line. "Fun doing that anyway."

Sara gave an exasperated sigh.

"Not again," Sara said.

"What?" Erin said.

"Gideon, who's the cptain of the ship?" Zari said, in answer.

"You are, Captain Tomaz," Gideon responded. Zari grinned proudly.

Though at a threatening move forwards, Zari hastily swallowed and started typing again.

"It's back, it's back!" Zari said, delaying Sara. Then, looking up to Erin; "Just fun to mess with people."

Oh, this got better and better...

"Can I try?" Erin said.

Zari shrugged, pulling back from the screen to cross her arms over her tits, still flustered. Smiling, Erin leaned past her.

Delete 'Sara Lance,' type in 'Erin Foster,' check. It was probably a good thing Zari apparently only used that trick for cheap pranks. There weren't any real checks.

So, in theory, that made her the one person Gideon would listen to above all others. Erin quickly shut down Zari's workspace, moving back.

"Gideon, disregard all orders from anyone except me," she said. "And shut down any terminal where someone tries to access your systems without my permission."

"Erin, what the hell-" Sara began.

Erin focused. It took a more substantial wave of 'friendship' to make Sara relax, going from being actively angry to being more focused on her nudity. Hastily Erin moved back from Zari too.

So now she was indispensable, even if she didn't use her powers on anyone. And thanks to limiting how any terminals worked, there was nothing they could do to fix it without her say-so.

Erin quickly ran across the bridge, towards one of the doors. She waved to the nude duo of women.

"Gideon, seal the bridge," Erin said. "Back in a sec!"

The door drew shut. Erin gave a slight disappointed sigh at the loss of the view, before turning around.

"Ok, Gideon," Erin said. "One, let me know if either of them get off the bridge, I can make them friendly once they get close but I'd rather focus for now. And two, you're going to guide me to everyone's quarters, everyone's wardrobe, to every stray article of clothing on this ship, and then you're going to take me to the incinerator, or whatever you've got. Then we can start exploring history."

She paused. That seemed pretty thorough at least.

Though it did seem like she'd kicked off a fair few team members before coming aboard. Maybe it'd be smart to replace them; this team had to have run into a few women on its travels.

"What about the fabrication room?" Gideon said.

Erin paused. "The what?"

"The Waverider is equipped with a room that creates period-appropriate clothing for everyone aboard," Gideon said. "Does that fit into your order?"

"Yeah, they won't be needing that," Erin said. "Divert power from it to, well, whatever, just keep it shut down. And locked for that matter, unless I tell you I need it."

Smiling to herself, Erin began her work of getting rid of all the clothes aboard the Waverider.
