A Mom

"Mom, would you please come into my bedroom?", Justin asked from his bedroom doorway.

"Sure Honey", His mom named Lynette answered.

She walked up the stairs, down the hallway, into her 18-year-old son Justin's bedroom.

"Mom sit down in this chair", Justin said.

"All Right", Lynette replied as she sat down in the chair.

Justin took out a crystal bauble that was on a gold chain, he started slowly moving it in front of Lynette's face and eyes.

"Mom, I want you to look at the crystal bauble, as you're looking at it, all of your morals, energy, and willpower is slowly leaving your body, your entire body feels weightless, you have no control over your own body", Justin said.

Lynette sat there and was looking at the crystal bauble as it continued swinging in front of her face and eyes.

"Mom I'm going to count backwards to one, while I'm counting your eyes is going to be heavy, and when I get to one, you'll fall into a deep sleep, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one", Justin said.

Suddenly Lynette's head dropped down and her eyes closed, Justin was thrilled that it had worked.

"Mom when I snap my fingers you'll wake up, but you'll be in a hypnotic trance", Justin said.

He snapped his fingers, Lynette raised her head up with a blank look on her face.
