The Costume Emporium

There are certain areas in most towns and cities in the modern western world where anything goes, within reason. Most of us have been to one of them. Here in Soho, London's west end is one such area. Carnaby street is the go to place for all things exotic with shops that cater for all kinds of hobbies, pass times and of course fetishes. Yes, Soho is considered the red light district of the city. I (the author) have frequently visited one particular shop there. Cannot remember the name but it held all kinds of things for those of us that loved heavy metal music. But I am not part of the story, and this shop doesn't feature.

The shop in question here is a fancy dress costume shop. Which again, holds all things imaginable for people looking for a great costume for any party that they happen to be attending. The stock they hold leaves no option out. They have everything you could possibly imagine. The quality of the costumes is second to none too. Even though they are not cheap, the quality is enough to get people to come and at least have a look. Just about managing to make enough money to warrant the shop to remain a legitimate business and stay afloat.

But just recently, The owner has been in contact with a new supplier. One that can promise quality that surpasses their current suppliers and at a cheaper cost. Needless to say the owner was intrigued and very tempted. All the costumes would be made to order and anything that was desired was not an issue. The owner had ordered a couple for display purposes only, not for wearing or trying on. The only thing that would possibly be an issue was when someone wanted to look at the costumes before buying, as some would be an all over suit as opposed to just some items of clothing. So the owner had a blank template sent to him so that people could feel the quality of the suits and try on the blank template before an order was placed.

So with that now not being an issue. The blank template had arrived and the new supply chain was advertised. Now the owner just had to sit back wait for the pounds to come rolling in when the suits start to sell. Halloween was only a couple of weeks away so the owner was hoping that he would see a profit in a very short space of time.
