Staves and Dripping Caverns

Explicitly Erotic LARP

Chapter 1 by JerkGently JerkGently

Welcome to Staves and Dripping Caverns: The world's biggest erotic fantasy and sexual role-playing event. Here, in our 100 acres of forest, cliffs and meadows far from prying eyes, you can experience a world of magic, adventure and exploration unlike any other.

'SaDC' is an adults only L.A.R.P. event held over a 4 day weekend in a location disclosed only to paying entrants. All participants must be of legal age and have provided documentation proving they are free of any sexually transmissible infections. This is a character and community driven erotic experience where constant intimate encounters with strangers are expected and encouraged, do not attend if this does not seem acceptable to you.

In order to ensure all participants receive the experience they wish for over the course of the event, there is a colour-coded system of implied consent in place. This allows players to express their desires to each other openly, without needing to break character. Of course this implied consent can be withdrawn at any time via the safety phrase: ‘My cavern is no longer dripping.’ But it is recommended that participants simply do not wear a colour they are not prepared to play the course of, in order to preserve their experience and the experience of others. Stepping outside one's comfort zone is a key part of all adventures.

The colours are as follows:

Brown: Leather or sack cloth, tunics or intricately decorated armour. Brown is the natural colour for many of the outfits suitable for our setting. As such it is the colour most often worn by newer players who haven't settled on a particular kink or faction or those who just want to experience the event as an everyman. There is no harm or foul in a desire to let the course of your adventures shape you, rather than attending with specific intentions in mind. Brown is a colour that can be adorned over, collecting trinkets and decorations from the characters you encounter perhaps… gradually gaining a rainbow of memorable moments with strangers.

White: Innocence, purity, submission, sacrifice. A character wearing white has declared themselves open for the full submissive experience of the event. They are in effect offering themself up to be a sacrifice upon the whims of all other players. They may be kidnapped, stripped, restrained, enslaved or in any other way used and abused by simply any who have a mind too. They are the damsels to be fought over, stolen and rescued. The driving point for many an evolving quest line and the reward itself for completion of thus. It is a dangerous, brave statement to make… but perhaps one that truly offers the fullest experience of the event.

Black: Dominance, command, control, deceit. Black is the colour worn by those who seek dominion over others. The schemers, dominatrixes and tops who would crush all others below their heels. To wear black is to declare openly that you are out to take what you want from whoever you can. Thus to behave in any other way would be to betray the fantasy that others have for you. It is a colour that loves all others, as long as they submit to grovel before it.

Red: Passion, lust, aggression, . Red is the colour of fierce, burning, fleeting passion. Those that wish to flicker on their whim and enjoy as many moments of short-lived ecstasy as they can. It is the colour of seductresses, harlequins and harlots. Fire mages and berserk lovers that are as likely to fight you as fuck you and sometimes both at the same time.

Blue: Law, balance, judgement, charm. Blue is the colour of order and honour. Knights, paladins, diplomats and law-keepers. Some might see this as counter to the ideals of the event as a whole and only for the prudish. However in the world of SaDC nothing is without a price. Those who wear blue pride themselves in keeping the whims of the other colours in check, giving a sense of contention and balance. Forcing the domineering to their knees and freeing the submissive from their chains. All with the expectation of equal repayment of course. For one who wears blue may as likely be a capturer of escaped slaves as one who would free them from their bonds in the first place.

Green: Nature, warmth, openness, exhibitionism. Green is the colour of the natural world. Elves, druids and creatures of the forest. It is the dress for those who see themselves as beyond judgement or the want to dominate. Those who want to welcome all in an endless, undiscerning embrace. 'Free love' in a primal, communal sense. It is the choice for those who want to spend their weekend relaxing in the bliss of multiple other bodies, bathed in the scents of sweet oils and endless caresses or lounging alone and naked in pools and forest glades, alluring any who wander past.

Grey: Grey is the colour of invisibility, and as such is mostly worn by our staff and support team, rogues up to no good or those who just like to watch. For full immersion in the event, players are encouraged to just completely ignore anyone swathed in grey and act as if they do not exist.

Gold: Gold cloaks are used to indicate the royalty and aristocracy of our event. These cannot be purchased, only earned through years of dedicated play. Such characters have changed the very fabric of SaDC's ongoing storyline and, as such, have taken their place as rulers or leaders in one form or another. They are often embroiled in the deeper politics of each event, but also have a tendency to collect harems of slaves and prisoners from the markets.

Naked: Players can, of course, attend the event without being hampered by any clothing at all. However, it should be noted that the fantasy world portrayed is one that encompasses slavery. This is most often represented by the removal of the player's clothing and addition of restraints. Thus, by attending naked you are essentially declaring your character to be an escaped , which may well affect how other players treat you.

All said colours can of course also be mixed, matched and combined. They are a tool and a guide for the expression of your character, not strict rules to adhere to. Always remember: no-one else can tell you how a wearer of a certain colour should behave, but you will also not get the experience you are looking for if you represent yourself poorly.
