Chapter 11

There were no dreams. No sense of time passing. Just lights out. Then, like being born again... Smelling salts are like a smack to the forebrain. Sue Storm's eyes fluttered. Pain echoed through the back of her head, where it had bounced off of the roof of the building she laid o...

Chapter 12

The Invisible Woman sighed. There was no way around it. Her head bent, eyes to the table, Sue Storm told her tale. The college photoshoot, Janet van Dyne finding the pictures online, her meeting with Tess Tempest, the deal she'd struck—all of it. The men listened, silent, and Sue...

The Invisible Woman raced to the Fantasticar. The air was cool on her skin—and there was much more skin exposed than normal. She'd kept the gloves and boots, but her long legs and arms were bare, even her shoulders, and only next-generation nanotube-enhanced materials provided an...

Chapter 10

Sue Storm modeled her new outfit. The skirt was scandalously short, barely reaching the top of her thighs. The long blue boots that came up past her knee had two-inch heels that she still struggled to walk in sometimes. Her midriff was bared, the top little more than a blue sport...

Chapter 8

Dr. Stone cocked her head. "I'm not familiar with Hyperstorm." Sue Storm sighed and closed her eyes. "You wouldn't be. He's my grandson from an alternate—I guess possible—future where Franklin married Rachel Summers. Power that dwarfs most gods. We thought we'd dealt with him,...
