Sue Storm Has Lost All Prohibitions on Kissing

It was as if a weight had been lifted off of Sue Storm's shoulders. An invisible burden that she hadn't known she had carried. Dr. Stone was correct: kissing was natural. Sue Storm didn't know why she hadn't realized it before.

As she walked the streets of New York City, she found evidence of that all around. A pair of young lovers snogging in a doorway. An advertisement for some perfume, playing on a billboard, that began with a smile and ended with a passionate lip-lock. A woman letting her dog relieve itself on the sidewalk bent down to get a slobbery tongue lick. In an alley, a sex worker was down in a squat, her knees akimbo and ass balancing on her heels as she kissed the prick of the rough young man in front of her.

It was all so natural. So beautiful. Sue felt almost giddy and lightheaded with an elation that was absolutely uncharacteristic of the sidewalks of Manhattan, which usually involved subtle invisible forcefield to protect herself from elbows or needing to suddenly step over a used condom in the middle of the street.

Sue's steps guided her home. She smiled in the mirrored chrome on the inside of the elevator, and freshened her chapstick. When the doors opened to the Fantastic Four's living quarters, the Invisible Woman saw her brother Johnny standing there, juggling fireballs.

"Hey, sis," Johnny said as the spheres of flame were absorbed into her palms. "New trick I've been playing with. Reed thinks I can do more with my plasma if I just..."

She stepped close to him and silenced him with a kiss. He stood shocked, taken aback at the feel of her lips on his. Instinctively, his lips parted, and Sue watched his eyes widen in shock as their tongues touched, just a little.

"Hello, little brother," she said after she broke the kiss. Sue smiled sweetly at him. "It's good to see you."

Johnny Storm stood frozen in shock, unable to say anything as a cry came from the direction of the children's rooms—followed by a flash of greenish-purple light and an ominous rumble. Sue was moving even as the Baxter Building began to shake, and Valeria's voice cried out: "I'm telling mommy!"
