Enter a small town in a time where it was still important to memorize their neighbors' home phone numbers, street lights coming on were the signal to get home, and the sheriff knew every one on a first-name basis. It has been a turbulent couple of months on these unassuming streets. Kids that aren't so young anymore are going off to college or are soon to be. Decades-long relationships are fading and reigniting, while many new sparks are flaring. Families that have known each other for many years are learning new things about themselves and their neighbors, with the help of a new shopkeeper on the outside of town.

An herbalist has taken up shop in an old cabin by the lake. She started off selling all-natural sunscreen pastes because of her location, a rather mundane introduction to her craft. For the last year her business has been steadily gaining in popularity, with rumors and testimony of her product's success spreading. Mr. Cruz was the first person to seek her services for anything other than sunscreen. He had returned home from deployment to find he couldn't keep it up for his wife anymore. The Sailor was much too embarrassed to speak about such things with his doctor, so he chose her third party council instead. Someone must have heard about the tea she prescribed him, because it didn't take long for Mrs. Richards to come asking about the same tea, and if she had anything else to spice up her marriage.

It would soon be known but not openly talked about that the herbalist outside of town had a remedy for any ailment, and her wares were cheap! She had a range of fantastical charms, oils, trinkets, potions, incense and more. Want bigger breasts for one night? There's a potion for that. Want to stay hard until the sun comes up? There's an oil for that. Want to inspire lust in your loved one? There's a potion for that. Want to be 20 years younger for a night? There's a trinket and a ceremony for that. Want your lover to be someone else for a night? There's a charm for that. The rumors began to spiral out of control, to the point where just about everyone in town had to visit the shop to prove the rumors wrong or right, while adding their own to the mix.
