Before the end of the year things start falling appart as the Beta-Release looms, the romantic comedy dating-sim things started with is becoming more of a mini-game in what is shaping up to become a post-apocalyptic Zombie-Horror/Modern-Fantasy/FPS/RTS/JRPG fusion... Can the Protagonist and thier friends manage to smash the mechanisms which allow the publishing of new 'patches' into the world in time to stop "Z-day", or does Civilization as they know it go down in flames...? (And either way, what happens to the relationships they've forged along the way as a result?)

And, of course, the possibilities of being able to remotely borrow a body are endless... the wearer feels everything broadcast from the remote body into their own headset, and they can be nearly anybody, as long as that anybody wears the remote control mask. They have full control over the remote body from the neck down, as long as the Ascend has enough battery life remaining! Now, a long-distance relationship certainly could get interesting...
