Amanda knew from experience that they could well afford to live up to the terms and simply not replace the workers as they retired, simply put in a machine instead of hiring a new local. But, she also knew that the Corporation loved to streamline every new acquisition to the bone and this place would be no exception. But, to avoid a lot of law suites, she had to make sure that no employee's were fired, but find ways to make them quit, on their own.

(For those who don't know, Winter Hill is a television transmitter located in South Lancashire in North West England. Also, when detached, all of Jack's body parts can move by themselves.)
