Today was the day that the Scarlet Emma Kelly bill was being voted on in the Senate. Amy knew it was going to pass, even though she herself did not want it to. Polls had shown it had support across genders, which she thought was odd considering that it would women to become sexual slaves. Amy understood the support, women are to have everything they needed supplied for them and all they had to do was become a whore. Women were still allowed to work and continue with everything they wanted before but if a man asked them to perform a sexual act, they had to obey.

It was not what she wanted. Amy worked hard to become a top news anchor at her station. It took her years to work up from her university news station to become a lead anchor at her station. She worked out religiously to keep her body in tip top shape. She figured she had to as, like all types of television, looks were a key part of being a television personality. She always wore tight dresses that accentuated her figure on screen and as a result, she had gained a…strangely devoted fan base.

Amy went to make a coffee first thing after coming into the news station. The office was open concept except for key personalities, like herself, who received private offices. As she made her way towards the coffee machines, she noticed an increased amount of attention on her. She ignored the attention and waited to make her coffee. Matt, her intern was there already.

“Hey, Amy,” Matt the intern said. “Crazy that this new law is going to pass, eh?”

“No kidding,” Amy answered. “It’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Matt smiled at her. “Yeah, it’s going to be an interesting new world…” He walked back and sat at his desk in front of her office.

Amy knew she had nothing to worry about with Matt. He was gay. However, the way he said that was…odd. She brushed it off, made her coffee, and went back to her office.

Back at his desk, Matt opened up Reddit. He had only started recently and had little to do unless someone gave him a task.

“I can’t wait for this law to pass today,” Mitch said walking up to Matt’s desk. “I’m going to get so much...”

Matt quickly hid his Reddit window before Mitch saw it. “Yeah, I’ve got something in mind, today.” He glanced at Amy in her office.

“Amy?” Mitch said inquisitively. “That stuck up bitch is just going to hide in her office soon as the S.E.K. passes. Rumour has it she secretly got reinforced glass installed in preparation.”

“I’ll get to her, don’t you worry.”

“She loves herself more than anyone else.” Mitch said as he clearly admired her through walls. “Just look at her checking herself out in the mirror. She’s looking just as intently as I am.”

Matt laughed. “There is one thing she likes more than herself.”

“Oh, really? What’s that?”

Matt grinned. “Being on television of course.”
