Chapter 1 by Tyne Tees Books Tyne Tees Books

Upon opening his eyes, Jack was mortified to see all of his body parts scattered around him. "This must be like one of those stories where the main character gets blown to pieces and has to try and put themselves back together before certain impending doom!" But of course, he thought wrong. But he didn't know that yet.

"I must put myself back together! and fast!" And with that, Jack's head hopped over to one of his arms. But before he could attach it..."Now then...let's reattach my body pa-"

Whoa whoa whoa! What do you think you're doing? "I was...just gonna put myself back together..." Oh no, you ain't! In this story, you REMAIN in several pieces! "What? Remain like this?" Yes indeed, my quirky little blown up Brit! "And who...might you be?" I...(looking rather smug) am this story's narrator! I tell the people reading this story what is happening an- "Yeah yeah...I know what a narrator is. But what exactly do you mean by I "remain" in several pieces? Don't I eventually put my body back together?"

Not in this story, you don't! Looking very confused at my remark, Jack wondered what- "Okay. Mr...Narrator...person..." You can call me N. "Okay...N...look, why was I picked to be the main character of this story anyway?" Umm...because you're the most...gullible?

"Gullible?...GULLIBLE?! The CHEEK of it! If you didn't make me get hit by whatever that was, I would slap you silly!" Okay! Chill...it's only a story! "Yeah...ONLY a story. So, what will you make me do?"

Well...that's up to what the readers think. Whichever thing they click on at the bottom of each chapter, that will affect the flow of the story! "Huh...now that I think about it, that would make this story a lot more interesting..." Yeah, it would. "So let's say...I had to choose a body part to interact with...the options would appear below...and they would pick which chapter they want to read?"

Ha, exactly! Also, if ever you begin the question the story, I'm always here! "You know what, N? I think this could be a good story." Me too, Jack. Me too.

Right then, Reader. It's over to you!

Which body part should Jack talk to first?
