and blows past the goal

"Holy shit guys, this is..." James looked at the latest wave of subs that had come in and been gifted. He had only been going for four hours and had already blown past 1,500. He was sitting at 1,683 right now. And it was still going up. He had set aside the entire weekend to stream, planning for at least 8 hours a day. "Well, I guess you've all earned the photo shoot thing, haha."

Comments and subs were still coming in and he smiled. "Listen, we've reached the end of this segment. I'm going to take a quick break. Freshen up, do a little costume change since we hit another goal. Be back in a bit." He put up the break screen and hurried to change, swapping to the Lara Croft outfit. He then popped out to the kitchen to grab a drink and a snack. Mike was in the living room, watching TV, and whistled.

"Looking good."

"Shut up," James said, laughing a little. "Dude, things are going great. I'm getting close to 1,700 subs. I... I might be able to quit my job and actually do the stream full time."

"The stream like it's been going?" Mike asked. "Like this?" he added, gesturing up and down toward James. He looked down at himself and sighed. He could see his breasts pushing out the top, the generous cleavage he had on display. His exposed stomach and the tiny shorts. It had become so... routine, after weeks of doing this. He looked at Mike and shrugged.

"I've been trying to do this for a while, you know? And this... it's working." It sounded hollow, even to him. "Shouldn't I take any shot to make this work, like you said?"

"If that's what you want. But, like... it's gotta be what you want. And you've gotta be okay with it. Are you? Cause... you're setting expectations. You know that, right? And if you go back in there you're accepting that."

James considered, nodding slowly. He knew that, on some level. He had already gone further with this than he had ever expected to. He was streaming in girl form more often than as himself. He was dressing up. This was a slippery slope. Was he willing to potentially keep going down it?
