Not seeing any choice if he wanted to keep momentum going, James accepted the guys offer. A few moments later, a donation large enough to cover a months worth of X-Change had come through to his account. He placed the order and just went to bed.

From there, his stream schedule was split. First 2 days changed and 3 normal, then 3 changed and 2 normal. He kept wearing costumes, going through Tifa and Lara Croft and some characters he didn't even know anything about.

After a couple of weeks, and in the middle of a stream where he found himself dressed as some cat-girl maid from an anime or something, he found himself talking to his chat as he prepared to wrap up for the night. "Good gaming again tonight, guys," he said, looking into the camera. 800 people were watching him consistently now. Which helped make up for the embarrassment. A little.

"So! I've been thinking. We're getting closer to breaking the 1,000 follower mark. What do you guys think about a marathon this weekend to try and push us over the edge? We can have, like, sub goals and stuff." Already, he could see the agreeable messages coming through. "What would you guys like to see for sub-goals?"

His eyes scanned the messages and he saw one suggestion that was coming up a lot. Photoshoots in some of the costumes. "That's a little risque for me guys..." he said. People kept pushing, asking for it, and James considered. "Well, I'm not opposed to putting it on the list, I guess..." he said. "But it'll be up there. Like, probably the last thing. Maybe if we hit... 1,500 subs I'll set something up."

He figured out the rest, games to play and costumes to go with. When it was all said and done, he signed off and let out a long sigh. He really didn't want to do a photoshoot. It was way weirder than streaming, even as a girl. But... 1,500? That was too high. Almost double what he was doing now. The odds of hitting that was almost nothing.
