Well a small detour then we hunt Human Monsters!

"Ah right, the hero said something about a treasure chest?" I was hoping that maybe that something useful would be located inside of it, as the reason why the Hero even wanted to find it.
"It's located behind the alter, but it is locked and you couldn't open it even if you tried." I simply raised an eyebrow and walked over to the broken stone alter before walking around it and finding an old timely wooden treasure chest. Noticing the simple padlock, I sigh and then just used Reinforcement on my tail before using Fire Tail Hookblade to destroy the hinges on the back.

Sadly this took quite a few tries before actually breaking the metal holding the top, now easily able to remove the top in a way which wasn't really supposed to happen. "A nice staff, broken metal pieces, a worn knife and three rolls of linen." tossing the staff to Roxana who caught it and used to to cast a bolt of fire before using it create a bolt of water, the rest of it went into my inventory before picking up the chest itself and placing it in my inventory. Hey components are components, not matter what shape they are.

We then left, I wanted to directly go to the exit will avoiding the other slimes, but Roxana had other plans. Said plan was look into the clear lake and commenting on how her reflection was strange, I could only groan before telling her that not all water would reflect what looked into it. I showed that any change here within the cavern wouldn't cause the lake to be reflective, I didn't know why, but it was so.

Then it came to the current situation, I had just watched her pick up and then absorb it into her body, which I didn't think much off until her actual level increased "Did you just gain experience from those slimes you merged with?"
"Yes, we become one and their powers become my own. Is that so strange for beings like us?" the questioned made me think for a moment before noticing that she was still waiting for my answer.
"Kind of, I can only get strong via killing other beings. Sadly I don't power like your doing, instead I just become more knowledgeable and understand the situation on the field better."
"You are an oddity, we use the technique time to time to extract slime from every living being that falls to us." I watched as she drained the slime portion of a slime golem.
Then a epiphany struck me, "Did all that slime come the groin area of those beings?" I wasn't sure but it was likely that Roxana was having sex without even realizing it.
"Yes, We tend to have to use a tube or a hole to find said slime."
"Do you actually get more powerful through that?"
"Something called Sex Experience." I could only sigh at that, "should we train that aswell?"
"If you want... I have no idea where that path might lead though."
