No, with soul crush she'd need 40 before you cut it down to 20. Unless she levels to like level 10 or gets some high level equipment from a friend, you're good.

Your lack of offensive skills will still be a problem however. At least her magic defense will be cut down if she does raise it though. Otherwise your basic attack will be useless.

She wiped out the spiders last time, so you can stay here and attack her right off. Or move back behind the ghosts and let them wear her down a little.
