Try to loot the corpse

You need gear, and you need it now. You try to grab the hero's pack and strip it from his corpse, but you're unable to. You try again, and again, but to no avail.

Then it comes to you. After numerous complaints from heroes losing their best gear after falling in battle, the devs had taken it upon themselves to lock most of a player's inventory to their body, until they could return and pick it up. Of course, that benefit was only awarded to heroes. Couldn't have NPC's and monsters that were unlootable, could we? No. That wouldn't be fun for the heroes.

Fuming, you resign yourself to picking up the few things that scattered from his body, knowing that you only had a limited amount of time before he came back looking. After grabbing the scattered gear and equipping it, you take a look at your inventory.

Equipment

Head: Server's Frill: Part of your uniform.

Face: Empty.

Neck: Empty.

Shoulders/Cape: Empty.

Torso: Server's Uniform: Attractive clothing to help you get tips at your Job.

Arms: Empty.

Hands: Empty.

Ring: Empty.

Groin/Belt: Sword Belt: This basic leather belt serves to hold the wearer's sword, and has a pair of potion pouches.

Belt Loop 1: Cheap Leather Scabbard: This cost effective scabbard of cured brown leather fits a common short sword.
Belt Loop 2: Empty.
Potion Slot 1: Light Health Potion: This potion of reddish liquid restores 10 HP when consumed.
Potion Slot 2: Light Mana Potion: This potion of bluish liquid restores 10 MP when consumed.

Legs: Empty.

Feet: Empty. Players and NPC's without footwear incur movement penalties based upon the terrain they are on, and a slight bonus to Stealth.

Weapon 1: Steel Short Sword: This sword with a three foot long leaf shaped blade is made of mild steel, a much superior weapon to short swords of lesser quality. It is of common workmanship and cannot receive enchantment or be reforged.

Martial Light Weapon: Increases Melee Damage by (3-8) HP.

Weapon 2/Shield: Empty.

Backpack/Quiver: Empty.

Undergarments: White Cotton Panties and Nipple Pasties: The very cheapest of undergarments, which leave most of your breasts exposed without other clothing. Commonly only worn by NPCs.

These garments prevent people from engaging you in sexual contact as long as they are worn.

Encumbrance: Lightly Encumbered.

While it's not much better than before, now you're at least armed. That, in and of itself, is a drastic improvement.

You're left at another decision point. A part of you wants to go find some better clothing and supplies. There's plenty of shops in town, and most of them should be easy pickings if you wanted to 'acquire' some things. Another part of you lusts for vengeance, to strike down more of the arrogant heroes for their crimes. Yet another part urges you to get out of town while you can, before the Overclock ends.
