Three is a company

An armed guard forces his way through the door. You can only look on in shock as he grabs you and pulls you off the girl. She retreats to the corner and pulls her legs to her chest, still in shock.

“Sweet God, Camilla get in here!” The guard yells out for another guard who rushes in. This guard appears to be a human woman who shuts off the shower before consoling the gnomish girl, putting a blanket around her. Another guard grabs you as you are hauled out into the locker room. Panic kicks in as you struggle against your captors. You bring your foot up and make contact with one of the guard’s head. He hits the ground hard as the other guard chuckles.

“Peterson you idiot, you gotta watch out for the feet.” He puts you in manacles and holds you close to prevent your struggling. “Alright Peterson, get up.” The guard rolls over Peterson as you realize your grave error. Blood pours from his head at a rapid rate, as it would seem he hit the ground hard.

“U-uuh-I didnae mean to do that.” You say trying to defend yourself.

He checks the pulse of the downed man before looking to you. “Ya just had to kill the new guy didn’t ya? Alright off to the pillory with you dwarf. I’ll need some time to figure out what to do with you.”

The guard pushes you out the backdoor into the alley before marching you out onto the main street.
