Chapter 5 by Noname appears! Noname appears!

After a few dozen questions, she passed out. But I got a better understanding of the world.

This world is Gender imbalanced, Matriarch in nature, and magic is mostly used by Females.

The women that I interrogated answered almost every question I asked her, but the only one that wasn't thoroughly answered is if there were any gunsmiths in the lands. The only response was yes, in the Capital. That aside, everything else was explained and written down.

The world suffered a huge Global curse that roughly 80% of men perished within 1-2 weeks. That was around 300 years ago, and there is slowly becoming less male births in recent decades. It is roughly estimated that there is 8:1 ratio of Females to Males. While magic is more common in females, magic in males is more potent and more often powerful.

When first detected, they are immediately detained and sent to a indoctrination for the Military or a rich family household. Both train them down to the core, but the Military utilizes them to support the front lines and medical facilities while the Rich uses them for their bodyguards and personal use.

Currently, there is a war going on. This Kingdom called Nerm and the neighboring Kingdom North of Nerm is called Zero are allied against the United York. There’s others who are also against United York, but have not declared war yet. While the fighting haven't gone all out, it has been intense. Reports of long range spells and 'acts of goddess' have been circulating the world since United York began expansion by conquering.

I suspect that they have invented Artillery, a side note for later. The economy has been fluctuating in recent years, but now stimulated due to the conflict. There are Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Copper coins for currency. 20 Gold coins for a Platinum, 10 Silver coins for a Gold, and 50 Copper coins for a Silver. Fairly simple. Most standard Hotels cost 5 Copper for a night, 10 for a day, night, and a paid dinner provided by the hotel. Breakfast is mostly free for most standard hotels.

There are guilds in each Kingdom, most of them are interconnected by means of either Long range Communication by magic, or by letters. Both are risky to do, with the LRC being able to listened to once the mana frequency is figured out, and the standard risks of sending a messenger on Horseback. But they are calculated risks, for the most part. The guides themselves are fairly large, and often welcoming to new members. Those who are moderately within the higher levels get better pay, and commodities.

While there are who resorts to bounty hunting and what I'd call odd jobs are mostly in the hands of the payer. They are mostly looked down upon by adventurers. Some payers are lenient once the job is done, often paying an extra few coins or throwing in an item.

While anyone can do the bounties or oddjobs, its considered poor working. Just solely that one can bargain for some extra coin or an extra something. A bit idiotic in my opinion. Hell, I lived off of oddjobs and what-not for a year or two. As long as you're honest, consistent, and courteous, you can bargain for extra for more food, a meal, or even something that you need or something that might come in handy.

Once that was done and reviewed, now what?
