The Livestock's Bargain

“Well you’d have to enjoy it, at least a little bit,” she blushes slightly rare. “But they give you a really generous stipend. Pay for your college. And once you’re out of milking age, then your retirement is paid for, and you’re free to go. It’s a hassle but if you become a cow then you never have to worry. Its kind of like how real livestock work I guess.” she points to a nearby cow. “That cow over there. It will never have to worry about finding food or shelter. Never have to worry about predators. The farmer gets everything it produces, but I think that the cow would find that a fair exchange. That's how it is for us cows too. I don't have to worry about being poor or not taken care of or finding a husband. I don't have control over my life in some ways, but I have more control in other ways.”

“But, is it at all degrading?” Your eyes rest of the cow bell pendant around her neck.

“Well yeah, but like I said,” her blush comes back, but this time with a slight grin, “To make a good cow you need to be the kind of person where being a bit degraded isn’t...such a bad thing”.

“You said there were other cows on campus?” Any other cow would be a woman with big breasts. She’d also not have alot of free time. You try to think if you’ve seen that cow bell pendant before. You know you have. You know it.
