Tax trap

A simple wooden one-room cabin. It has a back door and a front door, with a roofed porch attached to the front door. Spiders sometimes like to hang out in the corners of the porch roof.

There are glass windows attached to the front and sides of the building. The windows are murky but can still be seen through if you get up close. The left window when facing the front of the building from outside has been broken on the top half, allowing small creatures like fairies and spiders to gain entry.

Inside the building are a broken wooden table, a fractured mug, and an intact wooden chair. There may also be some scrap wood around, and possibly a bag of supplies left by a previous occupant.

The cabin is surrounded by a floor of uneven stone tiles. Just nearby is a small water fountain, which continuously trickles clean water thanks to a magic water crystal hidden within the inner workings.

On the ground just outside of the front door, there is a magical glyph that is almost invisible to the naked eye. Beating a DC of 16 on a CAUTION roll when approaching the cabin will allow a player to discover it. Then beating a DC of 16 on a KNOWLEDGE roll will allow the player to identify the intended effects of the glyph.

The glyph has the following condition: "When a fertile female humanoid sets foot inside this cabin, teleport the caster of this glyph to this location." This will summon Tacks the tax troll: https://chyoa.com/chapter/The-tax-troll.979779

Tacks will attempt to coerce the female by saying that the building owes back tax, and since she's inside it she's either the owner or an intruder. The tax he wants is 100 rupees. Failing that, he will also accept impregnating the female as suitable payment.

If they both get really into an impregnation attempt, he might carve a glyph onto the female's body with the following effect: "As soon as this female no longer has children or fertile sperm inside of her womb, teleport her to the TTA (the Troll Taxers Union)."
