Shocked

"Jesus Tanya, warn me before you sneak up on me like that," you say as you just stop yourself from squealing from the sudden contact.

"Awww did I scare the little princess" Tanya whispers into your ear almost seductively. Her breath on the back on your neck causes your hair to stand on end, and not in a bad way, you also notice that her hands are very much still attached to your waist.

"Well yeah,.... maybe a little, and don't call me princess, ...you know I hate it when you do that. Where did you disappear to anyway?" you say, trying to sound annoyed but it comes out all broken up as you can't help but feel relaxed with your best friend so close to you.

You can't help but think this is weird that you feel almost nervous yet relaxed at the same time, maybe its the booze taking effect, or maybe it's being held by your best friend. In any case, you slowly turn to face her, she moves back to let you but keeps her hands attached to your waist.

Your now facing Tanya, at roughly the same height you look her in her big blue eyes, she smiles and says " I saw you were done with your drink, and you looked like you were having fun dancing so I went and fixed us another drink." She takes her hands off your waist, but drags them slowly off you rather than simply letting go, turns to the table and grabs the two plastic cups, looks at them for a second, shrugs and pushes one towards you.

You hesitate before taking the cup "Have you drunk out of one of these already?" you ask taking the cup and holding it away from you.

"Maybe, not sure which one, why?" Tanya asks, as she gently sways in time to the music.

"Well, I dunno couldn't there be like your saliva or something in it?" You ask nervously, not wanting to be teased for being cautious.

"Hmmm your right, well if you don't like not knowing..." Tanya begins, as she takes back the cup she gave you and takes a sip from it, and the other one. "There now you know for certain that I've drunken from it" Tanya says rather mischievously, smiling as she passes the cup back into my hand.

You look around, you don't want to be teased or have attention drawn to you and Tanya. You decide against your better judgment to drink it. You put the cup to your lips and tip it back, the drink tastes sweet and gives your throat a slight burning sensation as it goes down. You can't help but notice a slight taste of cherry, which is odd as you were sure it was Jack Daniels mixed with plain coke. It dawns on you that Tanya must have some cherry flavoured lipstick.

Tanya licks her lips and leans into your ear and whispers "Mmmmm it's almost like we've kissed now" she giggles and moves her head back.

You feel slightly taken aback by her last comment, you sure she is just teasing you, but you also feel that nervous feeling and butterflies in your stomach, you confused, you're not attracted to girls are you? You've never really thought of them that way, yet you haven't felt like this since Adam you first boyfriend first asked you out all a few years ago.

You shake your head and drink the rest of the drink Tanya passed you. Thankfully your confusion is interrupted by Yuki and Terri yelling as one of their favourite songs comes on, and they ask everyone to all singalong. Glad for the distraction you and your friend all move closer together and start to sing, this carries on for a good few songs, with some dancing and more robot action from Amy and Emma.

After the last song on the playlist finishes you are all laughing and happy, and also pretty tipsy by this stage, however, everyone's feeling a bit tired from all the singing and dancing, so Terri suggests you do something else for a bit so you can all recover.
