Setting and Story Info

Chadonda is a word in a tentative peace, the nations of humanity having a period of calm after a thousand years of strife. It will not last. Even now preparations are being made by the nations of Chadonda to make war with their enemies, and beyond the petty wars of humankind they have half-remembered enemies from their past who seek their total destruction. There exists light in the world, however, among the nations there are always sparks of heroism to be found, and one act of kindness can make all the difference.

Each nation has it's own history and theme, allowing varied characters from many different backgrounds. Each nation has it's own section in the character creation process, each of which lends itself to certain types of stories, and each of which functions as a starting area for a new Godbound to grow their power and personality. Then you'll pick your sex, which opens certain paths depending. While I pride myself in my ability to write queer characters as people, it's not hard, they are people, I have absolutely no experience in writing their sexual experiences. If you do, however, and are inspired to write in this setting, absolutely do so. This is a safe space for queers and straights alike.

Following the selection of your starting nation, you will be presented with a list of Words to form the foundation of the new divinity, each of which will allow your character to do certain acts that other Godbound might not be able to. Having the Word of Alacrity would lend you far greater speed than someone without it. Having the Word of Endurance grants you far more durability than the Word of Sky. Each Word also grants passive benefits to keep in mind for writing their powers, making each Word useful in some way even without using it actively.
