Roll under it

In a graceful move you turn your sprint into a roll. The orb goes flying over your head colliding harmlessly with a tree. You come out of your roll in a kneeling position as you bring your mace across into the shaman’s knee. He goes down to one knee leaning on his staff as he curses at you in orcish. His cursing is interrupted when the shaman’s neck explodes as a dagger comes shooting through it. The dagger is withdrawn as the orc’s body falls. Behind it, a blood stained Bax is revealed as he wipes off his blade on the shaman’s cloak.

He offers you a hand which you accept as the two of you turn to Krest and Petra. They’ve managed to kill off the remaining orcs aside from one Krest is wrestling with. The wrestling swiftly ends when Krest gets an upper hand, and snaps the orc’s neck. You wipe the shaman blood off yourself, thankful that the fight is over.
