Restaurant as a waitress

Mackenzie hurriedly parked her car behind the restaurant and dashed towards the entrance. Having overslept, she was now running slightly late for her shift at Enzo & Nico Fortunato's Italian Restaurant. Hopefully her boss wouldn't notice if she slipped in and immediately got to work. Already looking forward to the end of the day, Mackenzie hustled into the restaurant and entered the employee break room.

She opened her small locker and deposited her purse and belongings. Then she grabbed a clean black apron and secured it around her waist. No sign of her boss yet. Mackenzie gave a sigh of relief and made her way out into the dining area to check which area of the restaurant she would be covering today.

Maybe today won't be so bad after all! she thought cheerfully.

But Mackenzie was very wrong about that, and would wind up trying to cover far more than just some customers before her shift was over.
