Raspberry Wine

The four of them sat around the table and Fiona began to speak “You see, it’s like this. Dani and I …I mean…shit, this is harder than I thought”

“Oh for the love of god mom, stop messing around. The sounds you heard were mom and me having sex. We’ve been 'together' for, hell I don’t know, a long time”

Clara and Alex sat there in utter shock.

“Thanks Dani, that wasn't quite how I wanted this to go” Said a flustered Fiona.

“Well then don’t make me cum so hard” Dani said with a wicked grin

“DANI!” Clara shouted, then frowned and said “Wait, you two are like…mom and daughter…and you’re…”

“We are not like mom and daughter, that’s exactly what we are. We’re just lovers too” Said Dani, who seemed to be the only one in the room not in a state of panic, “Who wants more coffee?” She said nonchalantly.

“Have you got anything stronger?” Said Clara

“Dani grab that raspberry wine and some glasses” Said Fiona

Raspberry wine was typical of Fiona, she was always making some weird home-brew, which was normally very strong. More than once Clara had woken up with a fierce headache as a result of Fiona’s alchemy.

After they had a glass of dark red ‘wine’ each Fiona seemed to compose herself and said

“I know how this looks, mom and daughter and all…”

Clara interrupted with a fierce glare she said

“It looks like **** from here”

Alex cut straight in with confidence “Clara that’s not fair, let them explain”

“Sorry” she said to Fiona and Dani, she held Alex’s hand as Fiona continued

“It just sort of happened one day. Dani was heartbroken when that idiot whose name I can never remember…”

“Franklin” Said Dani

“…Thank you dear, Franklin ran off. We drank our sorrows away and one thing led to another”

Dani said “It wasn’t icky or anything, it was…just lovely. And hot as fuck!”

“Dani!” Said Clara again.

“I think it’s nice. You have each other and seem really happy, so why not?” Said Alex

“Sweet boy” Sighed Fiona

Clara snapped at Alex “Why not? Because they are just a tiny bit related. Oh, and it’s against the law”

“Not in Spain.” Said Alex. “Or Holland”

“Really? I never knew that” Said Dani smiling

“Perhaps we should move to Spain darling” Fiona giggled

“Jesus Christ! You think this is funny? This is like, so not funny” Clara was getting flustered and silently cursed herself that she hadn't found better words or stayed calmer.

“Sweetie, why does it have to be a bad thing? Where’s the harm? Who’s getting hurt?”

Clara looked at Alex “And you’re OK with this?”

“I don’t see why not, you have to admit, they're always happy. If that’s the reason then maybe more people should do it” Said Alex

Clara thought about that “You two are always happy I suppose”

“Being satisfied sexually does tend to keep you in a good mood. I think you and Alex make a great couple”

“Dani I told you before, Alex and I are not a couple” Said Clara

“Of course you’re not” Dani’s sarcasm was not lost on them.

“Now that you both know about us, this is a bit awkward but I have to ask, please don’t tell anyone about this” Fiona was still being very somber

“Fiona we’d never tell anyone, would we Clara?” Said Alex

Clara said “Of course we won’t say anything, I’m sorry, I was just a bit shocked”

“That’s fair enough. It’s not every day you find out your cousin is fucking her mother” Said Dani laughing, her lighthearted attitude and the Raspberry wine lifted the mood nicely.

“As we’re being open, can I ask a question?” Said Alex, sipping his wine.

“Sure” Said Fiona. Her relief that the tension had passed was obvious.

“So how does it work then, do you live as a ‘couple’?”

“Alex I’m not sure that’s any of our business” Said Clara

“Of course you can ask, it’s a good question actually” Said Fiona, then Dani cut in.

“Pretty much, yeah we do. We sleep in the same room, we cuddle up and watch TV on the couch”

Then Fiona said “Dani’s very…romantic I suppose you’d say. She leaves flowers on the bed and hides cute notes for me to find”

Dani and Fiona held hands and smiled sweetly at each other. Then Dani frowned… “Are you OK Clara?”

Clara had tears rolling down her cheek “I’m fine…it’s just…this is so sweet. You really love each other, sorry. I’m crying like an idiot here and I don’t know why”

Alex hugged Clara, she buried her face in his chest, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Dani Laughed “Clara you’re so cute.”

“That’s what I said” Alex quipped happily

Clara sat up and wiped her eyes with a tissue. It was never in her nature to stay angry at anyone, let alone Fiona. Then she said “I feel like a fool now. I shouldn’t have reacted badly, I’m so sorry”

“Stop apologizing! Anyway, I suppose I should confess, the reason I left the room with mom was not that I wanted to give you privacy, far from it, I wanted to watch. No, it was because the sight of you two fucking got me so worked up I needed Mom to…well, you get the idea” Said Dani

“Really?” Asked Clara

“Dani was so wound up she practically dragged me into bed. I’m amazed you never noticed, she wasn’t very subtle” Fiona had finished her wine, so poured herself another and topped everyone up.

“We were a bit distracted ourselves. I’ll confess as well, that being watched kind of turned me on a bit. Especially as you’re naked” Alex said

Clara was amazed at his candidness, it gave her the courage to open up “Me Too. It felt naughty”

“Mom and I have watched you have sex, would it freak you out if you saw us having sex?”

“Now that I’ve had time to get used to it, no, I don’t think it would” Said Clara

Then Fiona looked over the coffee table and noticed Alex was already hard again. Staring at his lap drew Clara’s attention to it, as well as Dani’s. Despite all that had happened Alex still got embarrassed

“Clara it looks like you’ve got work to do there” Said Fiona. Using her momsy tone.

With a wicked grin Dani said

“And this time we’re not leaving”
