[GM] She finds the way, but is obstructed

Hettie was stunned to discover that this place was even larger than she'd first envisioned. If she had believed that the single large room was the extent of what this establishment had to offer, then she was sorely mistaken. She passed between a pair of large marble pillars that marked a gap in the wall, thinking it to be an exit, but instead found herself in a second room just as large and sinful as the first.

This happened twice more, pillared gateways leading to yet more enormous rooms, before she finally found what she had been looking for. She was starting to worry she might be going in a loop... if this place was so difficult to navigate from the air, she couldn't imagine how lost people on the ground must get. It really did seem designed to encourage people into never leaving, she thought, but then there it was. A single, unassuming door tucked away behind a row of amusements marked, "Exit to Lost Woods."

She wasn't familiar with a forest of that name, but she imagined that once she got out into the open sky there was only so lost she could be. She cautiously opened the door and found herself in a narrow spiral stairway leading upwards. Following it all the way up led her to another door similar to the first, though this one was guarded by a kobold bouncer dressed in an uncharacteristically smart suit & tie.

"Coupon?" he asked when he saw her approach, expectantly holding out his clawed hand palm-up.

[GM] After being overwhelmed by the breathtaking size of this place, you eventually find a door marked "Exit to Lost Woods." There is a narrow spiral staircase behind it, leading upwards. At the top is another door with a small window showing the outside world. All you can see through it is a few trees and a bank of fog.

[GM] A kobold bouncer stands between you and the door. He asks for a coupon and holds his hand out towards you.

[GM] You gain 25 XP.
