Chapter 16 by Rereese7 Rereese7

Does it take long?

Not At All

Thanks to being an expert weaver such as yourself, you quickly wrapped the silk around her skin and moved her around as you tied her up. Every time you touched her skin, you felt something stirring inside you. Maybe you were just nervous. After all, this was the first time you'd captured any hero. But in less then ten minutes, you pulled away to admire your handy work.

The elf was now wrapped in the silk expertly, the stuff weaving around her from neck to feet. You had left her head open so that she could breathe but her hands were tied behind her back, keeping her from doing much even if she woke up. Though, you still had eight and a half hours before that.

You started to wonder what to do next before something else popped up before your eyes.

<Create Lair>

You were puzzled, at first. How were you supposed to create a lair? You didn't even know what a lair consisted of. You looked at the rubble around you as you tried to figure out where to go to create this supposed lair of yours. But as you looked around, you realized something. This was the perfect place.

The cavern ceiling was high up and anything that came in would need a strong light to be able to see you up there. The giant hole in the center of this place was deep but if you put webbing a certain distance down, you could turn it into a pit for keeping prisoners like your elf. There was, technically, only one entrance since the other path actually led deeper into the caves. Or so you believed. You'd need to search that sometime. But as you thought about that cave, you realized you could easily block it up with a bunch of webbing. Or, even better, use it to lure heroes towards some sort of treasure.

With all these ideas floating in your head, it took a minute for you to realize that there was more text off to your side. You were startled for a second before you looked and realized what it was.

<Claim Territory?>

You took one last look around at the cavern before you nodded and clicked on the prompt. As you watched, the rubble and dead bodies all around you slowly disappeared, fading away. For a second, the cavern looked as if nobody had ever set foot in it. Then, a layer of webbing slowly appeared along the walls, floor, and ceiling. It covered the surfaces with a thin layer, just enough for you to be able to crawl along it as you set up your own webs to fit your needs.

With a chime sounding from nowhere in particular, you realized it was done. This was your new home. Now, you just had to find a place to put your new prisoner.

Where do you keep your prisoners?
