Chapter 4 by JackOLantern JackOLantern

What's next?

Learning about Eromancy.

When I returned to my room, I let out a satisfied sigh. I was on cloud nine. A cute girl in my class let me touch her boobs and kissed me afterward. It was two firsts both in a row, it was the first kiss I’d ever shared with a girl, and it was the first time I’d ever felt a girl’s boobs on purpose. I always had an idea that they were soft, but I had no idea.

I looked to the comfortable-looking queen-sized bed that was in my room and felt my heart racing and my mind ablaze with thoughts. There was no way I was going to actually sleep well tonight. I took a look around my spacious room. It was really a wonder that such a large room was dedicated to just a student, this was bigger than some apartments I had seen back on Earth. It was decorated well too, each of the wooden panels that made up the walls had intricate and interesting flourishes etched into them, the ceiling was vaulted with a few glowing balls of light which could be activated or deactivated at a command. My desk was spacious and had shelves around it to hold the various textbooks for my classes. And there was a large space in the very center of the room for practicing magic or skills.

I took off my blazer and tossed it onto the hook next to the door, then I undid a few buttons on my blouse, which thankfully had more buttons than the female variants, and was also a slightly less girly shade of magenta rather than milky pink. I didn’t really have much to show off in terms of my chest, I was scrawny after all. Rather fitting that my job would be a mage-type.

Speaking of which, my thoughts drifted to my job as I collapsed down on the bed. I should probably learn the ins-and-outs of this class, Anterose made it sound like its skills were going to be just the thing for a perv like me.

But first I reviewed its stats. It seemed like all of them were fairly lackluster but still in line with what one might expect from a mage-like class with a couple exceptions. It’s two highest stats were mana and luck. In fact, I was pretty sure their growth rates were higher than any of the other common jobs. The tradeoff, though, was that everything else was total garbage.

I reviewed my skill unlock condition again: Sexual stimulation. That seemed easy enough, but what interested me was my secondary experience gain. Obviously, things like completing quests and slaying monsters granted everybody exp, but there were some secondary things each job could do to earn experience as well. Warriors could do physical training, wizards could meditate, alchemists could experiment, and so on. My secondary experience condition was Climax. Included was a brief note that explained that masturbation would give me hardly any, while climaxing as a result of a sexual partner or getting a partner to climax would give me the most. This exp was multiplied for each additional person who climaxed beyond one at the same time. That one sounded a little like a challenge.

Either way it was pretty interesting. Also, fairly interesting was that I had already unlocked some skills for my class, which meant that just kissing and groping counted as “sexual stimulation”. Even just that small amount got me two skills, but one of them seemed like a fundamental skill and if this world truly was based on JRPG elements, you better believe that there was a leveling curve involved.

The first two skills I unlocked made it clear why mana capacity was one of my highest stats. One of them was a passive skill that made it so my mana regen was directly proportional to my luck stat, additionally this skill would have a similar effect on my sexual stamina. Meaning the higher my luck was, the more times I could pop before I got exhausted. That was handy.

The other skill made it clear why I needed the first skill. This one was another passive skill that let me restore the mana of other people by giving them a portion of mine while feeding them my bodily fluids. Basically, my spit, sperm, blood, even sweat and urine could be used as a makeshift mana potion for my companions. This struck me as an important tactical advantage, since mana management was always a pain in RPGs, and especially when delving into dungeons or caves where multiple encounters may occur throughout. I would be very valuable in those situations, assuming my companions were willing to drink up.

Neither of these skills were offensive, which meant I had a support role. I would need to keep that in mind as I decided who to go on quests with in the future.

Next, my conversation with Tsuki about weapons had me curious about my own. Each job was able to gain skills with three different weapons. And from what I understood, an individual could make a one-time choice to make one of them a unique weapon that would level up with them, so they’d never need to replace it.

My three available weapons puzzled me for a moment, because all but one seemed rather unusual. The first, simply enough, was maces and hammers. Given how unorthodox the other two were in certain situations, this one seemed appropriate. It also fit the motif of a support character, even if I wasn’t really a healer class, I was sort of a healer for mana. The second choice was pressure-point martial arts with glove weapons. That one was pretty interesting, I was a little unclear how it fit in with the theming, however.

The third choice was by far the most alien, to the point where I almost felt like it had to be a mistake. The third weapon was a combat golem. According to the description, it was a construct with good stats that would be loyal to me. It would be capable of deploying small magical turrets that could damage or otherwise crowd control enemies, and it could even be worn as a suit to grant me additional firepower or shielding from threats.

Of the three choices, the golem seemed the most practical for a beginning Eromancer. It would ensure that even before developing my more combat-oriented skills I could hold my own in a tight spot, or at least have a constantly vigilant friend who was capable of helping me out and buffing me up. Plus, weren’t golems like magic robots? How cool would it be to have a robot companion that I could wear as a power suit? That would be rad as hell.

And that line of thinking was just about the only one my tired brain thought was worth considering as it chose that option to be my unique one. Almost the moment I had made the decision, the sound of a water droplet invaded my mind. I recognized this sound as a notification from my tab informing me of an a-mail message.

I retrieved the device and navigated to my messages, finding the following among them from “Circle of Runemasters”:

Thank you for choosing the Circle of Runemasters for all of your golem and inanimate animation needs. We are pleased to inform you that your order for a unique golem has been placed, but it will take time to construct and perform proper quality control.

Well shit, I should have figured I’d need to wait. Also, this was very weird, somehow some golem-making company knew what choices I was making in my own brain.

The estimated delivery time will be tomorrow at eight o’clock AM. We appreciate your patience.

Oh, that wasn’t so bad. It was right at the beginning of my first class, though, so I wouldn’t be able to show off until the next day. Did anyone else even have a golem companion? I hadn’t seen one yet, and I would think it would stand out in a crowd. I wondered if maybe it would come early?

This thought was one of the last I would have before drifting off to sleep naturally. I dreamt of being a giant robot in class where all the students were fawning over me and pressing their boobs against my metallic frame. Sadly, I couldn’t feel them, since I was made of metal. It was a dream with very mixed messages.
