Lawan wants to know about Dawn's shift last night.

Sitting down at our table I make sure to keep as many people between Dawn and I after her stunt with the vibrator. We order a round of coffees for everyone and a light lunch as well. Aor begs Yui to let her order a basket of hot chips but Yui will only let her cheat with the carbs if it's shared amongst everyone at the table.

As the coffees arrive Lawan asks Dawn how her first night at The Loft went. “What was it like working there? What are the other staff like? Did you see Holly and Jess? Did you make any tips? Did you see Asian Fff… kick anyone out? Did you get free drinks? Are you working there again?” she rattles off before Dawn can answer. Quickly covering from calling me Asian Fucker in front of her sister.

“Oh my God! It was so great. The other staff are really fun. Yeah, they were there. It was Holly that trained me,” Dawn explains to Lawan, trying to remember everything she asked her.

“What about the rest of it?” Lawan says dying to hear all about it.

“Umm well, I got, like, two hundred bucks in tips so guess who’s going shopping!”

“OMG splitsies!”

“Of course!”

“So, did you see anyone get kicked out?”

“No,” Dawn frowns, “their boyfriend stayed out the front all night,” indicating Yui and Piya as she says ‘their’.

“Are you going to work there again?”

Dawn now turning her attention to me at the table, “oh yeah I can’t wait to ‘come’ there again. I had a great time, we even had a drink before ‘he’ dropped me home.” Dawn adding extra emphasis to both come and he.

Piya and Yui’s interest perks up at the last part of Dawn and Lawan’s exchange.

Piya pointedly saying, “And you behaved yourself in the car on the way home did you Dawn?” Yui angling her body slightly in front of mine at the same time.

“Oh yes Piya. I was so tired I could barely move. Wasn’t I?

“Yes, Dawn. You were very quiet on the way home."

Piya accepts my answer but keeps her narrowed eyes on Dawn.

We are saved from further talk of the drive home by the arrival of our lunches. I stifle a laugh as I watch Aor try and continually move the baskets of chips away of whoever seems to want them on the crowded table. I know exactly what she’s up to and make sure I leave them all to her and don’t take any.

Splitting the bill evenly, Piya pays for Lawan as Dawn happily makes a big show of pulling notes out of her purse. Having Dawn’s mum’s car there as well we are much less cramped on the drive back to the park. Piya leaves with Dawn saying she has to get back to studying as she kisses me goodbye outside the café. Lawan again drives on the way back with Aor teaching her leaving Yui to cuddle up with me on the back seat next to the baby’s car seat. Aor making sure to tell us off for making out when Yui starts trying to suck on my neck. Sprung Yui behaves herself on the drive and holds my hand for the rest of the trip telling me she missed me while I was away on the boat and is looking forward to catching up when the weekend is over. Aor declaring she knows exactly what catching up means.

Back at where our cars are all parked Lawan and Yui say they are going to go look through the footage at Yui’s parents’ house and start editing it. I’m given another goodbye, this time slightly more passionate and wanting when Yui is able to drag me over to her car first. I say my goodbyes to Lawan and Yui while Aor is checking on her little one in the rear of the car. As they drive off I go to say see ya to Aor when she pokes her head out from the backseat, “Phewww! Someone’s a bit stinky! Hey sorry, I’m all out of wipes for mister here. Your place is nearby, isn’t it? I couldn’t change him at your house could I?” Aor asks me. My house isn’t far from the park Yui and the girls were training at.
