The elf girl.

Who are you kidding? You're a werewolf, a beast of instinct. Sorta. Either way you decide to slip over to the girl's table and pull up a chair, sitting down opposite of her by the table in the corner.

"Why is a cute elf like yourself sitting here all alone?" you ask in what you hope is not a too creepy way. The girl looks up from her mug, meeting your gaze. Her eyes look tired, which is a good sign since at least she's not immediately hostile.

"I'm waiting for someone," she responds and looks back to her mug.

"Who? The rest of your party?" you ask.

The girl shakes her head. "I don't have one. I'm just trying to complete this stupid quest, but it was... harder than I thought."

You can't help but smirk at the double-meaning, and the girl thankfully doesn't notice since her attention is still at her half-empty mug.

"So who are you waiting for? Someone to help?"

"Kind of," the girl says, clearly getting a bit sick of talking to you. "There was a werewolf there. One that apparently isn't supposed to be there. Killed me and my useless fucking party. Stupid lying mage and stupid faggot healer..."

Huh, this lady did not have the mouth to match her face, apparently...

"I tried to gather a new and better party to get rid of the thing, but didn't have much luck," the girl continued. "Then I heard that a low-level member of the werewolf hunters' guild had come to deal with it. I talked to him before he left, and we made a deal that we'd meet here when he was done."

Oh. So the heroes you fought were a professional werewolf hunter and presumably a friend of his... That explains the silver sword... And if he was coming here... Uh oh. He had seen you in your human form. He would recognize you if he saw you.

Just as you're about to get up to leave before he shows up, the girl speaks again.

"Are you a questgiver, maybe? I could really use something to pass time with while I wait, and none of the quests from the peasants around here seem fun or rewarding..."

Ah, she was offering you an opportunity to exploit errors in the quest system...
