Man's best friend to the rescue!

You try to keep a safe distance between you and the swordsman, but he still manages to get in a few small wounds on you. You're losing health at a faster rate than you're regenerating it, and you never find an opening for an attack. Nor do you have time to check your new stats to see if you've gained some useful edge over him with your level up.

But then, you hear barking... And the wolves come rushing to your aid.

They form a circle around the swordsman, growling and barking. You're happy to see that they're all here; the archer didn't manage to kill any of them.

The swordsman seems unfazed by this turn of events. Of course. Wolves aren't exactly very high level. And how WOULD he look fazed with that helmet covering his facial expression?

You got an idea though... You pretend to run away, making sure to do so in the most cowardly fashion possible. Not too difficult after all your practice back in Torgniam. Then, once you're out of sight, you try to sneak around the swordsman to have his back against you. He seems to have little interest in the wolves, running in the direction he saw you running. Eventually however he's **** to give the wolves some attention as they attack, and that's when you strike.

While the swordsman swings his sword with focus on one of the wolves, you run towards him from behind and leap forward, knocking him over. He falls to the ground on his stomach with you on top of him, and you attempt to grab his arms so he cannot use his sword. He struggles, and puts up an impressive fight, but your wolves see their chance and attack him while he's momentarily helpless. You focus all your attention and strength on keeping him down and defenseless, which you only barely manage. You can't stop to attack him even once, so without your wolves this would only have been delaying your ****. But WITH your wolves... you smugly watch as the swordsman's health drops.
