To the ocean's edge.

Staying crouched by the tree, Jade pulls her map from her bag. For a couple of minutes, she looks at the map, trying to get her bearings. As she looks, she realizes that there are three wooded areas on the map, two of which seem to thin at one edge and are near the water.

The realization comes to her that she's at one of two locations on the map right now, which means she's just one landmark away from figuring out exactly where she is. A faint smile touches her lips, This gives me a HUGE advantage, once I know where I am, I can start marking locations off the map as I search them, AND I'll be able to find the marked locations on the map with little trouble.

The smile grows as she sees that there is stream or river near one of the wooded areas, which should come out on the waterfront not too far from where she is if she's currently at the edge of that wooded area.

With a sense of growing optimism, Jade folds up the map and stuffs it back in her bag. A quick glance at the figure reveals that they are further away from her now than they were before, meaning that they most likely haven't seen her. Casually slinging her pack back over her shoulder, Jade starts towards the beach.
