What's next?
The forest edge thins.
Maybe an hour later, Jade begins to notice that the treeline is starting to thin, offering her less cover than it had before. Its not long before the once tightly packed trees are spread out, several paces between trees, and little of the bushes that had previously offered come degree of concealment.
Jade crouches near one of the trees, taking a couple of minutes to look around.
Far to the left, she thinks she can see water, likely the ocean. Directly ahead of her, she sees open ground, mostly low hills and gently swaying grass. To the right, she can see two things, the first, a glint of metal in the distance, possibly a building in the distance, the second is a figure, too far away to even be sure if its one of her fellow contestants, or if its one of the men hunting her.
Where does she head?
